Glad you enjoy it! I was just winging it when I made this, but I was definitely listening lots of xrd and blazblue tracks during that time so it definitely took over when I was composing 😅 I'm planning to remake this one with better mixing and also an extended arrangment so stay tuned for that!

Whenever I try to make cute or happy rock/metal song, its either Bridget or May's theme my mind subconciously take inspirations from 😂

Big inspiration from that era of GG! Especially Primal Light, one of its credit songs!

@ezresp41 There's different ways to sound like japanese music especially when theres so many genres out there, but heres some few tips from what ive learned: - City-Pop, J-pop, J-rock uses the IV-V-III-Vi chord progression so its a good start to experiment with those. - Use 7th chords most of the time. 9th, 11th, and sus chords are good chords to spice things up too. - Add chromatic descending chords, thats what I've noticed from J-rock songs. - Playing the notes of a power chord on a melody can sound very J-rock or J-pop - You can also use the Hirajoshi Scale to have more exotic japanese feel to your song - Listen and dissect your favorite Japanese songs. I recommend going to Songsster or Online Sequencer and get the midi files and study them (or even copy em lol) if your fav song was added there.
