Permatex Plastic Welder
มุมมอง 3.5Kปีที่แล้ว
Plastic welder is a 2 part epoxy that comes out equally from 2 tubes to be mixed. It hardens like a rock in 10 minutes. Can easily be filed, sanded and drilled. I usually wait 20-30 min before drilling. Faster than JB Weld and makes a bery strong bond especially on cracks.

Homemade Small Engine Adjustment Tool

I didn’t have a small brake line to try so I used the electrical aligator clip. I did try a .22 long cal shell but the brass is too soft and is a tac too large in diameter. I tried shrinking it with a couple of bends but it’s just too soft. The H for high is on the air filter side of the carburetor if it’s not labelled L for Low and H for High. There are many videos out there on how to set thes...

Princess Auto 2.5L Ultrasonic Parts Cleaner Carb Results 160 watt power I bought this on sale. Using the heater it got to 150*F. I cleaned my carburetor for my snow blower which cleaned up like new with a mix of 3 parts demineralized water with 1 part Simple Green HD in the purple jug. Also in a smaller mix of 3:1, I cleaned jewelry including a diamond ring. Ran both items for three 480 seconds...

What I had to do was add 2 square washers 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/8 thick and tape them to the rubber door seal so it makes contact with the light sensor when the door is closed.

DIY Bird Spikes From Metal Coat Hangers
All this work and someone didn't know not to have stripes on the decklid?😊
Triming the strap on the ground electrode should not be trimmed away from the side of the center electrode. It should be flush with the edge of the center electrode. This will give you more flexibility for adjusting the gap. David Vizard also rounds off the end of the ground strap, not leaving it squared. This should be done on all spark plugs and not just ones with piston interference. He has shown pics of his modification in videos and in a couple of his books. A ground electrode can sorta hide the spark when it arcs. By trimming the ground strap back. it fully exposes the spark to the air/fuel mix in the combustion chamber. The spark jump from the hottest point on the electrode to the hottest point on the ground strap. Doing this will add a couple horsepower.
Indexing plugs? The threads engage when they want. Seems non adjustable for the most part. Can anybody explain?
Replaced the broken igniter on my Bernzomatic TS4000 today using this method and the igniter from an old stick lighter I had lying around. Nice to be able to fix it again in the future too if needed. Excellent and very useful video. Thanks. 🔥
Oke John ferigood motivations video is the bast friends
Where’s the Balls… Things needs Flowmasters
This worked...but my gas is stuck on "ON." When I thread the canister on, it immediately releases the gas (I can hear the hiss.) The spark works though and lights the flame.
One degree in a small block was worth 60 hp?? Cmon dude... just silly.
Cool man!
Nice❤
I like to watch things break and is why I watch this channel.
thanks for the info not sure if its worth the money to have one shipped from Canada , i did find one for 17.99 plus handing fee plus shipping crazy , not sure what to do , i found some on Rhreem sight that looks just like it but its 1 inch square ! dang !
Where do buy that 1.00 lighter ?
Wow right on! I'm heading to the Dollar Store in Sault Ontario and buying 5 of them lol lol lol... my benrnzomatic solder iron just lost the clicker!
Video stops at times very annoying :/
Thanks for the info, I searched also and could not find a replacement?
@johnmilner7603 You. Are. The. Man.
You are a true hero 😂. I use these in the sign and wrap business a lot and it always bothered me I had to buy a new torch when it lost spark.. $1 dollar sounds a lot better!
Thank you I've been looking for parts and how to fix it u just made my day I've got 2 of them just like this !!
Not many sounds sweeter than a real-deal LT1 taking a big breath.
Thank you for taking the time to post this
Yeah, there’s a few left, I’m bigblock. Motivated
well done! thank you!!
Fantastic.
I've seen several good plug reading vids but this is the first time I've seen one that explains what's seen with the Heat Range being too high 👍
Filmed with a potato camera 😂😂
THANKS !

21:39 My engine runs smoother and has better throttle response when I add 0.1mm spark plug gap. not a big difference, but very noticeable on the road. Fuel efficiency is also slightly better.
6 years and only 2 comments? aint many of us left.
sad days. these pussy kids can't even drive a manual let alone have the manhood to grip and hold onto the shifter in one of these cars and feel every horsepower directly in your palm.
Great
The JG fits very nicely, but is way louder than the Gardner system although, the JG system is about half the cost as well.
Yess! Great job with the vid. I tore apart a cheap barbecue lighter for the piezo unit and it worked perfectly. Saved me spending $50 for a new torch. Thanks bro!
waste of time.
I too searched for a replacement piezo. Found your video. Excellent. I was inspired to troubleshoot mine. Found the piezo working but the pladtic holding had melted a little bit. Cleaned it up and reseated it. Now it works. Thank you.
Both knobs have a letter, L for low speed or idle and H for high speed. Turn L for low or idle speed clockwise until it starts to run rough then turn the opposite direction until it runs rough then set between these 2 points. For H or high speed you need the throttle fully open. Do the same procedure as you did for the L.
So glad I found your video! Your instructions worked and I fixed my TS8000. The hardest part was finding the right cig lighter. Most of the ones near me for sale are strike wheeled.
Good idea

Pretty fast
Good info!
can you buy spare parts anywhere?
This man deserves the god medal of freedom. I’m still so impressed this works. A tip of the cap to you sir.🧢

@@igorsmetaniuk464 And I totally did this to my igniter and it totally worked
Also my torch hadn’t worked in years. I have a handyman biz and I’ve been using a lighter to light it whenever I had to solder pipes. This is so great. Stickin it to the man! 😀
Dude I just fixed mine thanks to you! My igniter ended up not being bad but my button wouldn’t press down far enough so i i did what you said with a stir stick and it worked perfectly! Shoot I was about to just throw it away and buy another one. Thank you again for making your vid. In the last two days I’ve been buying that style lighter at a couple different stores because I was planning on replacing the igniter. I wonder why this happens with the button? Anyways the stick did the trick!
Thanks for the stress. I just finished the repair and it works well. Thank you so much. ^^
The fastest easiest fix if you have it is I use my JB weld clear glue and within an hour or less it works perfect again. But you can always use heat shrink or any insulator similar that is glued together so there’s no holes. I repair lighters constantly.
I don't understand why you would need jb weld? How does that repair the piezo sparker? And what holes are you referring to?
@@maxp9793 You don’t. I just had it next to me and its better than tape that won’t hold. The insulation is there so it sparks at the end. Its like having a hole in a garden hose. Same thing. Minus pressure considerations. Where would the water go? Patch it and it works right.
Thanks for sharing this.
