Great speakers - but they deserve much better amps than Accuphase....Trigon for example, these german amps deliver by far more timing, speed and resolution on ELAC`s.....

Perfectly balanced. Since my first croft I could not listen to anything else. With my speakers, it has the special ingredient, it is so quick, vivid, unbelievably clear but not sterile, tonally neutral but with impact, great texture and an effortless playback, a free floating, sparkling musicality to it, it is unbelievable!

This person just wants too dress his 1200 up a bite. For you people that don't know. A record cap is for streight arm turntable for less drag and bumps in between a records hole. It also cuts down slightly from hearing the motor dareing play back. A (S-ARM ) turntable does not need this because the arm has a curvage wich reduce drag ,and you will never hear the motor even if it's a belt drivin turntable in S-ARM. Only Streight ARM requiers this.

I bought an AT-LP240 turntables in early December. I just noticed that the speed on mine is slightly slow (strobe dots move slightly counterclockwise). I found this out by observing the strobe dots on the platter. Apparently the faster the speed the more it magnifies the slow speed error. Does your AT-LP240 hold perfect speed? You may have to stare at the strobe dots for a few minutes on the slower speeds (33 & 45) before you notice any speed error. On 78 it is easier to see. Thanks!

@TheMaxx111 I use a USB audio interface to record the sounds from my Turntable (well, from my Mixing board) to my computer. Offers a lot more options and better sound while recording, but, yeah, LP 120 is the one and only USB Turntable you can be proud of. It's a great mid range turntable and a beast compared to all these cheap usb "turntables"...

@SiriusXAim I have a Techinics 1200 MK 2 already for my LPs. I got the AT 120 for 78 RPM records. I can tell it is not as good as my 1200, but it is fine for 78s and recording. I like how I can record directly to my computer.

@TheMaxx111 LP 240 is a copy of the Stanton ST 150. LP 120 A copy of the technics 1200 Mk2. Difference is that the LP240 have more torque, better dots (LP120 uses an older and less efficient strobe dots desein). But honestly, if you got the money, get a real Stanton ST150 or a Technics. These are just copies, so the quality is inferior....

Colegas, desculpem a demora em responder. O AT tem excelente qualidade de construção, nunca tinha visto o DD tão silencioso, protegido de vibrações e tão bem construído. Só experimentei três cápsulas nele, uma ortofon OM10, uma AT 95SE e a AT 440MLA. Sem dúvida a última foi muito superior. Abraço
