Really great voices ... love your version of "The sweetest gift" ... I get the feeling that you both should be playing to much larger audiences with your singing talent. Found that you recorded "Till I gain control again" the harmony's are just great ... Rodney Crowell would surely approve of your version ... good luck in all you do ... thanks for posting this video.

Guard House Avenue in Keighley has a notable history, particularly related to housing development. In 1928, Keighley’s first council homes were built on this avenue on land purchased from the Brigg family1. This development was part of a broader initiative to clear slums and provide better living conditions for residents. The estate was designed with 12 houses per acre, each featuring a garden1.
@AndrewHiggins-q2k Nice one i will look into that mate...thanks
When Bradford Library Downsized from the Massive Building where they were to where they are now what happened to all the Books they don't have Space for? Were they sent to other Libraries? Skipton, Bingley, Shipley, Leeds, Halifax,...? Were they any Books about or mentioning the History of Keighley? My Mum did some research on the History of Keighley but I don't know what happened to it I don't Think She does either
Fantastic Johnathan well done. I visited the two greenhouses at the back. Some rare plants inside like the Mexican hat. Also a pond with Japanese sacred fish! That lamp in front, there's another exact replica at embankment in London!
@phillippopcorn-657 That's interesting, many thanks for watching...
What was the Building in Keighley You Said You didn't know the History of? I don't know if it's worth a try or not but I just looked up 2 Baptiste Place in Bradford as I used to Attend a Group there and couldn't Remember what it was called. It was Aspire. It's Specialist Autism Services now. When I looked it up on Google Maps a Black Box came up on Street View with the Address. At the bottom of the little Black Box it says See other Dates. I don't know how far back it goes but Several Pictures came up at the bottom of the Screen with a different Year. See if that Works with the Address You wanted to know about. It might not be much but at least it's something.
@AndrewHiggins-q2k very interesting many thanks Andrew...
A excellent insight into the Butterfield family empire very interesting and informative history format well presented video I personally enjoyed the pause and stop cut scenes in the filming good techniques!
There used to be a pub on Thornton Rd Bradford called The Woolstapler🍺
@richardburton2726 Nice one I didn't know that...Good stuff....Johnny...
Very interesting. Thanks Johnny. Gary. Iin New Zealand
Brilliant vid! I've seen a few short features & documentaries on TV about the Brontes & Haworth over the past 20 years, and although this vid doesn't cover the sisters, I liked this by far the best - it felt like I was actually there. (I'm an Aussie, and we have *nothing here that resembles the beautiful and ancient parts of England you cover.) Your narration was great too, & in what sounds like an accent from the area or somewhere near? - and this was also better than TV. Well done!
@jontwest Thanks great feedback, I'm very local near Haworth. I've done a video about Bronte Family a month ago its on channel Look out tonight for another néw ideo. I show the inside of Haworth Church in depth its glorius. I also look into a Local Mill owners family history... 7pm UK time it will be on... Cheers...
A very interesting and informative history format on St Michael's and All Angels Church based in Haworth I thought the camera 📷 angles when filming were at a high quality !

Hey! Did the biker nick your wallet? 5ply, 8ply wool. I had a woolen cardigan made last year from Norwegian wool. But Scottish wool is stronger. You can even buy Falklands sheep wool! I'm not certain Edinburgh woolen mill products came from Scottish or Welsh sheep? Shame all these places are going bust! It's online that does it😢
Thanks Jonathan! Really interesting, good video. 😊
Very nice. I was born close by in Whalley Lancs but have lived in USA most of my life. I come over often to visit family and friends in Lancs and Haworth. I have a very nice flat cap that my friend Julie from Haworth bought for me at Edinburgh Woollen Mill while I was visiting.

I think I'm old enough to remember 3rd class? Once I sat first class from London to Sheffield. Didn't pay during covid. No inspectors. Before they introduced mean solar time. Bristol time was about 6minutes behind London time!😮
@phillippopcorn-657 yes the Railways have definitely seen many changes in the last Century.....
I don't think the UK was the first to develop a canal network. Venice and Holland did that centuries before/
Thanks for sharing this tragic story. I had heard the story a longtime ago, but you've filled in some details I didn't know. Many thanks Johnny.

You should have filmed in the evening when all the cadets, MP, Mayor and 1940s music was playing. They gave out free fish and chips from Utley. Yummy.
Fantastic. I never heard of her. The splash in the water may have saved her? It was the fear of drowning I reckon, so she made the wrong decision. Poor girl!😢
@phillippopcorn-657 yes a really unique story, so tragic though sadly...
