Who defines "best" ?
That's such a great point! With taste defining much of what your or I value, can there be agreement on "the best"? Adding in artistic growth, is one constrained to wait to share any work until they have reached "mastery"? That which I thought to be exemplary five years ago is often not even on the "good" list today.
Such a different park from your other ones (I could swear this was somewhere in the Midwest) - and such a different painting, too!
I tell you--east Texas is DIFFERENT! I've become accustomed to scrubby live oaks (at best, in the Metroplex) or desert plants like yucca and agave (a la Panhandle Plaines); I was blown away by those trees. (The rain, however, was mostly hurricane-induced).
