Visit to Gwalior fort ''The Pearl amongst the fortresses of Hind''
Gwalior fort located at middle of the city Gwalior on a table top mountain..
The fort was built during 6th century and then captured by external forces several times.
The present day fort was rebuilt by Mansingh Tomar in 1500 A.D.
Fort consists of Man Singh Palace, sas bahu temple, teli temple, Indian archeological museum, Gurudwara etc. atleast a whole day to visit the fort.
Fort timing: 6 AM to 5 PM
Ticket price:
Man Singh Palace: 25 Rs. Camera 30 Rs.
Karna mahal, jahangir mahal, jauhar kund combined ticket 25 per person,
camera 250 Rs.
Museum: 5 Rs. No camera allowed
Teli temple, sas bahu temple ticket included in Man Singh Palace ticket...no extra ticket needed...
You can take your lunch and visit Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod Sahib Gwalior
Distance from delhi to gwalior 350 km approx which I had drive... because I love to drive
Bande Bharat train is best which will take just 3 hours 20 minutes to reach gwalior.
From howrah it is best for gwalior chambal express.
