      This is a good question! You can make a duplicate of your mesh before Dynamesh and then use "Project All" under Subtool tab to apply the high-lvel detail from your duplicate mesh to the mesh you just dyanmeshed.

      Yeah it should work on all newer iPads. Your performance will suffer a little. Ideally, you want an iPad that works with the Apple Pencil as well.

    The ipad pro max which cost (13-inch model $1,299.00 US) and the Apple Pencil Pro (costing and additional $129.00). So one would have to spend $1,428.00 and that is not the end of it, you have to pay an annual subscription cost to use "the "ZBrush for IPAD" app cost ($89.99). This is a very expensive hobby! "A hobby cost you money"

    • @cre8-or-die
      @cre8-or-die 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, if this your sole purpose for buying an iPad Pro, and you do this strictly as a hobby then it is on the pricey side. That being said a lot of people use ZBrush and the iPad for work/profit and it can quickly pay for itself. Also, I can think of a lot of other hobbies that are a lot ore expensive-skiing/snowboarding, fly fishing, motorsports, hunting, etc. 😅

    Hi. Just a noob question. Do your mesh determine the smoothness of the object? Or its doesnt matter whether your mesh is good or bad as long as you have many polycouns?

    • @cre8-or-die
      @cre8-or-die 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Vero, yeah it's pretty much what you see is what you get. So if your model looks smooth in your computer than using the 3D resin printing process, it will end up smooth when printed. But yeah, actual clean topology or mesh is not important. Just high-polycount and making sure your model is "water tight"-meaning you model is enclosed you don't have holes in your mesh.

      You can do something similar in Nomad. Though I'm still considering subscribing to zbrush but I haven't found tools to make it worthwhile for me as yet.

    hi, I want to buy an iPad, but I don’t know how many inches and capacities are needed. Which model Ipad do you use? If you have 11 inches, does it comfortable to sculpting? You have M2 or M4? How many polygons can there be in good fps on your Ipad?

    • @cre8-or-die
      @cre8-or-die หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @proLNken I'm using the Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) Here's my affiliate link for the exact iPad if you're in the market: amzn.to/4dYAtB9 I think 13" feels pretty comfy... if anything I'd like another inch or two of screen real-estate. I had an 11 iMac Pro a couple of years ago and sculpted with it in Nomad... it is certainly possible, but IMO more screen real-estate is better. With regard to polygon count, I've been up to around 10 million polys without a noticeable difference at all. I'm confident it can go to 50 million without much lag, I personally just like to work with lower poly-counts in general. Now that we have tools like ZRemesher and Dynamic SubD it makes it much easier to keep those poly counts down.

    How did you load the image in image plane

    • @cre8-or-die
      @cre8-or-die หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @studiohut-p8l I actually didn't use an image plane for this tutorial... it was a pre-sculpt on a plane. You can see that process in the first part of the series. I will aim to create a tutorial soon that demos how to add image plane. But to add an image plane you go to your Menu/Palettes and then to "Floor Grid" there you can go to "Reference Image options" and slide the "fill mode" on. The under "Front/back" pick an image for "Map1" then you'll have front reference image added.

      Hi @TheEpicMeli, that's a good question and probably deserves a quick tutorial. I'll plan to get that created in the next day or two.

    I really hope we get zmodeler brush as quickly as possible.. Without it I'm kinda lost. Making anything other than organic shapes is just a nightmare without it. If I was a smarter person I would have checked the features list to see if it was there before I bought a years subscription.. But that's not how my brain works, evidently.

      @@cre8-or-die They probably will. It's such an important part of the package for so many people at this point. I just flat out assumed it was in there because of how essential it is. Assuming made an ass out of me this time. Still though, the app itself is really cool. Haven't used Zbrush since the mid 2000s, so this is QUITE the learning curve for me coming in after the app has gotten a million features. Last time I used it, Z spheres were brand spanking new. Frustrating to learn, but still rewarding and I'll stick with it. My Nomad skills don't really carry over due to how different Zbrush is from most other software.
