Yes Jesus Christ, who I'm you say?
Yes what is matter to me, is matter to Lord
People like to talk about it but not live about it...
Unfortunately it's still a forgery. The most simple proof is that the image would be distorted if it was ever wrapped around or even just lying on a body. The anatomy is also wrong and in line with medieval images. So sadly we don't have an "image of Christ" except for the one we carry in our hearts.
Sir, how do you know that the cloth was not flat as a board when the images were created? Were you inside the tomb with a flashlight then? Medieval depictions of the crucifixion all have the nails in the palms of the hands. In the Shroud, the nails are in the wrists. The Shroud's anatomy is not wrong.
The haft of you are in Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God. The haft makes me become a saint. In the love of Jesus Christ, I will have it at the end of this earthly life, I will carry my mat, this is my body have been clean and healed by Jesus, to meet Jesus Christ, The One that I loved. In John 5:6-9 told: “One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been ill for a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be well?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am on my way, someone else gets down there before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your mat, and walk.” Immediately the man became well, took up his mat, and walked.d Now that day was a sabbath.” Do whatever you can do in the love, help and grace of Jesus Christ. And He does the rest for you 🤩
Sister, you’ll be more wonderful if you just stay in the holiness of Jesus Christ, breathe the breadth of the Holy Spirit, and nothing else can separate you from the love of Jesus Christ. Just do whatever Jesus Christ wants you to do, to gain benefits for His Church and all the people that He loved. Jesus Christ never left his lover to be lonely. He will do this and serve you a meal with Him “Who among you would say to your servant who has just come in from plowing or tending sheep in the field, ‘Come here immediately and take your place at table’?” (Lk 17:7)
PLEASE READ: If you're going to use scripture then you must use all of it. Isaiah 50:6 says that the beard was plucked out. The shroud shows a beard. Isaiah 50:6 has been recognized as a prophecy of the crucifixion by everyone. Plucking out the beard of a blasphemer or someone concemned to death was a Jewish tradition. Beards were a sign of honour and respect. To pluck out somones beard was to shame them. John 19:38-39 says that Christ was bound in linen with 100 pounds of spices. PLEASE READ And take notice of the following evidence which is either conveniently not mentioned or over looked. John 19:39-40. The following is Paraphrased so as to not infringe on copyright laws. Joseph and Nicodemus (the rich man) took the body of Jesus and bound Jesus in linen wrappings WITH THE SPICES, AS IS THE CUSTOM OF THE JEWS. With ALL of the investigations, there has never been found on the shroud any type(s) of ointments, spices, etc. None. There are no odors or smells other than an odor that is associated with the actual smell of linen. No spices or residue. This Is Very Interesting. The Book of John clearly states that these spices were used on the body of Christ when they wrapped Him in the linens which is a Tradition of the Jews. The presenter talked of the 'evidence' of Nicodemus, the rich man and his expensive woven linen he bought, but what about the 100 pounds of spices? The typical amount of spices purchased for a burial was approximately 20 pounds or less, depending on their wealth. Some state it as little as 8-10 ounces if impoverished and as much as 16 ounces as the typical weight. These LIQUID spices would be POURED over the body AND the burial cloth, (it was a liquid mixture) impregnating the cloth, which would eventually harden, turning the wrappings into a type of cocoon or sarcophagus. The purpose of the spices were to either decrease or elliminate the odors of mortification. The passages in John clearly state that this bounding of linen and spices was done with 100 pounds! The body of Christ was literally bathed in the spice misxture yet none was found. The wrappings should contain at minimum some minute residue that could easily be chemically analysed for composition. Spectrography would have easily identified these components without causing any damage to the cloth. Historically there is a very limited number of spices which were used for this purpose so the analysers would easily know what to look for. Knowing what to look for is the hardest part of any investigation. In 1981 the Shroud of Turin was tested and NO evidence of spices, oils, or chemicals were found. Further reading that appears to be unbiased can be found on Wikipedia under Shroud of Turin. Yes, even the best researchers are biased. Myself included. I am no less prejudiced than any other person. I have given you the Biblical facts from John and the relevant findings as they have been currently reported. Blessings in Christ Always, gene
The oldest version of Is. 50:6 is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and does not have the word "beard." That was a conjecture by scribes who did not understand the original. Luke 23/24 says that the spices needed a day to prepare and, in the end, could not be applied. Matthew, Mark, and Luke all say that Joseph of Arimathea provided an linen sheet (shroud) for Jesus' burial. Strips of cloth were used to tie the Shroud to the body. Sir, none of your objections are valid. Many scientists have investigated the Shroud, and not all of them were biased. You clearly are.
I love you, Lord ❤️
It’s 1/1/25 & “no” I don’t, still, have small tangible amount of love, from my grown children. Sure, I weep over it, wept over it a lot last year, the amount of tears could have filled a yacht or more. The tears still flow, St. Monica wept for 30 years for her son. My prayers are up to 6 years (that’s when my true conversion to God happened). I have handed this over to our Mother yet I still weep because I Miss, Love, seeing them. My eldest, haven’t heard his voice in 3-1/2 years. Yet, I know my motherly tears and prayers are not in vain. God sees my pain, HEARS my prayers, He has His plan, it’s not mine that I pray for. I just miss the HUGS, laughter, talks, all of it✝️🙏📿♥️ It’s a new year, I’ve picked my new Saint who will be with me all year and also this year, St. Faustina is the Saint who will be with us while saying the rosary on MaryTv (Medjugorje) with Cathy and Dennis Nolan, if anyone who would like to join in on saying the rosary. I’m getting off track, Love the ones you’re with & tell them everyday how much you love them. God Bless✝️🙏♥️📿
Most insightful, as always
I have that tie! Love Saint Andrews. Great school.
What faith do you claim . Catholic ? Epicable? Or some other ? I'd really like to know thank you .
She's Latin rite Catholic
Dear Sister Mariam. I am no longer able to continue. Of course I fear death and hell. Only this life is unbearable. I pray. I beg. I even asked for an exorcism. Since childhood I have lived in this unbearable darkness and suffering. I tried all means offered by man ECT. Therepy medication. I know it's a soul issue. With only a soul prescription from our great physician. Priest do not take these spiritual issues as anything the church can address. My first suicide attempt I was 9yr. The pain. It was the pain. I love our Lord and His church. I pray. Seek healing. Repent. I I understand there is a shortage of priest. I am a poor senior living on less than 17,000yr. I give always in the collection. But I am not a big donor. Why the parish priest not 9:24 have time for me. Love our Priests. Pray always for Holy and Many priest. My sorrowful mystery. I do try to offer it up. Give it value to Christ. Despite all. In my weakness and shame. I do plan on suicide. I just do not have the courage and strength. Please pray. In God Mercy. Maybe I can go to purgatory. It's just the pain . I can not endure anymore. Sacrificing soul. I cannot do anymore. I love mass. So grateful. . So it's confusing. There comes a time when a cancer pay says no more Chemo. I have fought. But no more. Tired and done. Sadly persons with cancer or sorts. Gets compassion. Love ones. No shame. Yet when Ia person can no longer endure. They are left alone. They are shamed. I pray and trust in my last hours. Christ my judge. Will be there.
So inspiring full of Grace Nd Truth
The image doesn't match the "Good Shepard Roman Catacombs ".
It doesn't need to. That image was done a few hundered years after Jesus. The Shroud was not extant until the sixth century, and depictions of Jesus from that era have a proven congruence with the Shroud's image.
Beautiful and insightful lecture! Thank you so much for sharing the stories of these amazing Catholic women. I did know about several of them before, but mostly these names were new to me. I will have this book on my reading list for the next year! May God bless you!

So grateful I discovered Sr Miriam, she is wonderful!!
I was brought up in Tridentine Latin Mass as were my family for hundreds of years. Taught it was Perpetual and couldn't be changed. Then in 1965 it could. Eventually after seeing very irreverent worship I parted ways. My family too. Then they had Heinz 57 varieties of masses mostly said by lunatic priests . Yes a Novus Ordo Latin Mass came in but that was to keep people away from the Tridentine Latin Mass. Sly, Sly, Sly. The Catholic Church is full of lies and deceipt . They created a Counterfeit a type of Protestant Church hoping to get Christian unity. So far only the silly Anglicans that helped demolish the Church from within are in agreement with the Counterfeit.
The AKJV Bible confirms the Shroud and the Shroud confirms the Scripture of Truth! When correctly interpreted, the Scripture proves the Shroud, and there is more Scriptural Evidence in passages other than the Gospels. See Isaiah 42:3 and Galatians 3:1 !
The Shroud of Turin, which is the Shroud of Jesus is a Picture, and a picture is worth a thousand words!
Sister Miriam really is one groovy nun!!
Holy’ speaker not bad at all, but always… gr…e…at..🤩 God’s Voice always lovely, touching and charming 🕊️ May, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
to Sr Miriam, it is not just "heart" identity need but also mind gift role as inseparable and qualitatively equal the keeping of which in uncertainty is belief. Retreats to be and do healing would model this keeping of minds, of minds and heart and of heart in a triple trinitarian keeping union with "I AM WHO I AM" (Exodus 3:14). Are you if consenting to be joined in a consecrated celibate marriage by vows to man in Christ as a retreat leader withstanding extreme tensions of grooming in your procreation gift roles by diseased identities of 'familyist' family members for their families' economic advantage by tax exemption embezzlements and lower insurance cost by fraud or unacceptable risk of this fraud? This was as in the case of Pope Francis' consecrated celibate marriage on 17 June 2021 in the cases simultaneously of these embezzlements by ten, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu, of the Vatican state procreation gift role group and this unacceptable risk of fraud by the Italian Parliament members' identities in need of union. The Pontifical Council "Cor Unum" ("of one Heart") was set up in 1971 by Pope St Paul V1 for the purposes of the continuing since St Paul at 1 Cor 7:25-34 drawing these vulnerable family members into complicity by error in the committing of these occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, offences by this not keeping.

Thank you! May God be praised! 🙏🏻
This is a wonderful presentation but next time remove the computer monitor from in front of the presenter.
It’s not authentic. Read John 20 in the Bible. John 20:5-7 “5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.” His face cloth was separate, folded, and lying apart from the linen cloths for the body. Jesus is risen, but this cloth is something unrelated. Read God’s Word and don’t be deceived by “every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.” Ephesians 4:14
The Sudarium of Oviedo
Those of us that are both intelligent and know the Bible as well as the Shroud know that the facecloth of Jesus was wrapped around his head after he died but was still on the cross. After Joeseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus brought the body of Jesus into the tomb it was removed, folded, and set aside. It was never put back on him again. Had he been wearing it his head image would be on there and not the Shroud. Can you understand that? And those linen strips were for binding the body during rigor and for securing the shroud to his body. He was _not_ wrapped up like an Egyptian mummy we know that. Some people will call the Holy Shroud a fake for the most absolute dumbest of reasons it seems.
The shroud of Turin is real, because so many paranormal things are connected with this cloth - energy etc. There are even hebrew letters on that cloth in energy-form (light, radioactive...) only to be seen by x-ray.. The cloth had been mended by nuns 1000 years ago, because the surrounding ends were damaged. That was exactly the location where scientists took their probs for carbon 14 datings. When Jesus was re-animated by Godly energy in his grave, the energy filled the cloth as well and burnt the image into that cloth.
The negative image on the linen cloth was created by soaking the cloth in a photo-sensitive reagent known to alchemists at the time and then projecting the image of a corpse onto the wet cloth using a camera obscura, a technique known to some early artists, such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. The head was done separately, explaining the slight mismatch in scale relative to the torso. This explains why a life-like image of a face appears only in the negative when photographed, not in the developed film. An Italian physicist and his team found in 2004 a second, fainter image on the back of the cloth (also a negative). It had been created during a trial run to check that the camera obscura would create an image properly. The cloth was a genuine burial shroud brought back from the Holy Land by a pilgrim. The blood, flagellation marks and wounds were expertly added to the corpse by the hoaxer before it was photographed and then eventually bought by the Roman Catholic Church, the clever forgery duping everyone into believing that it was the genuine burial cloth of Jesus.
Now that you have figured this out it should be quite possible for such shrouds to be mass produced for sale to anyone who wants one.
If your take on this is true, then why not take the time to recreate something similar on video so all can see ? Or why isn't everyone talking about this ?
What a load of crap. The Shroud image is so incredible that the burden of proof rests on those who think it is a forgery. STURP team spent over two years preparing a series of tests that would gather a vast amount of Shroud data in a relatively short period of time. STURP's primary goal was to determine the scientific properties of the image on the Shroud of Turin, and what might have caused it: After years of exhaustive study and evaluation of the data, STURP issued its Final Report in 1981: *"We can conclude for now that the Shroud image is that of a real human form of a scourged, crucified man. It is not the product of an artist."* "The answer to the question of how the image was produced or what produced the image remains, now, as it has in the past, a mystery." No one has ever proven these 33 scientists and engineers wrong. All were part of leading tech firms. Los Alamos National Scientific Laboratories* Lockheed Corporation* U.S. Air Force Weapons Laboratories* Brooks Institute of Photography* University of Colorado* Oceanographic Services Inc.* Nuclear Technology Corporation* U.S. Air Force Academy* Jet Propulsion Laboratory* Sandia National Laboratory*, etc. The STRUP team included three Jewish members, one Mormon, one Evangelical, several Catholics, several Protestants and some avowed atheists and agnostics. Had religion ever been a criterion for membership, most of the STURP team members would never have agreed to participate. The notion that it is a forgery (a painting, other work of art) has been disproved so thoroughly and absolutely that it is permanently buried; they are based in part on the denial of empirical data. The scholarly consensus a mere 60 years ago deemed the Shroud a medieval fraud; the present evidence allows a firm archaeological judgement for authenticity. I feel pretty sorry for anyone these days dumb enough to call the Shroud of Turin a fake. I would hate to be that brainless!
There is so much evidence to prove otherwise.
@@heatherwade2373 Here in 2024, there is virtually _no one_ that is both intelligent and has plenty of common sense that will call the Holy Shroud a fake. That is simply impossible.
Isn’t it problematic that the person on the shroud has DNA stating adult human male with blood type AB?
Why?
The Turin shroud is not merely the proof of the corpse of Jesus, but of the resurrection PHENOMENON
No. It was the result of a hoax. There is nothing in the shroud that cannot be explained in terms of clever forgery, using a camera obscura and a cloth brought back from the Holy Land and soaked in a photo-sensitive solution so as to act as a photographic plate or film.
@@stephenphillips4984 What a lie that is. Typical atheist. The Shroud of Turin has been studied *thousands of hours* by many dozens of scientists and doctors they have proven *100%* that it contained the body of a beaten, scourged, crucified man that was wearing a crown of thorns while on the cross and that it dates back to Biblical times. They cannot say 100% that it wrapped the body of Jesus Christ but no one with any common sense at all is going to think that it contained anyone other than him.
Don't understand why he felt he had to go through the first 19 minutes of this video in explaining why Christians have a predisposition to find the Shroud interesting? It is almost he is trying to appear balanced to the non-believer. Perhaps it gets better.
I listen to Fr. Dalton's presentation again and again.
John 5:26 “If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote of me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
The shroud is so frustrating for me. In 1978, I was 8 and introduced to the Shroud a year later ('79) and have been studying and fascinated with it ever since. When the carbon dating was done in 1988, I felt something was amiss then. It's now being determined that the Shroud is from the middle east between the years 70-90 AD. Well, Yeshua was crucified around the year 30 AD, so something is off time wise. They also estimate the height of the man to be between 5'7-5'10". Well, 5'10" is waaaaayyyy too tall for a 1st century Jewish male living in Palestine, so I would lean more towards 5'7" being the max and even that is bit too tall but more plausible. The Shroud is as frustrating to me as it is perplexing. I anxiously await further testing.
Did you forget his Father is God himself and he can make him as tall as He wants! 😂
Think! - Thee: Shroud, has been displayed hundreds of times, not always publically, and has naturally been stretched and held or pinned so it's surprising he's not taller.
@@ileanaharbour4282what I would like people to appreciate is how it's still physically impossible for us to duplicate the shroud because the massive but very brief flashes (plural!) of radiation that created the shroud image came from within the body making the worlds first stroboscopic X-ray. All the stuff about his height or the date(!) are meaningless once you realise the phalanges of his fingers are visible through the hands AS THEY ARE CHANGING POSITION. Confronting the moment of a truly miraculous event that vindicates historical record necessitates a re-evaluation of, not just our lives, but the Bible and Christianity itself... Good luck and God Bless people! X
