I hate to say it after C Reeves didn't want CC on the USA team, but Minnesota is extremely well coached. That could be a problem for the other teams. No lack of talent there either.

Did Elle ever worry about a 20 year old being destroyed online to the point that Coach Bluder had to have the entire team stay off social media during the basketball season for their mental health. Elle feels sorry for an older adult Swoopes who actively started the lies about Caitlin and now wants Caitlin to go online and say nice things about Swoopes to get Swoopes out of the hateful things she did? Caitlin stays off all of it because Caitlin has been harrassed so much. Caitlin does not publicly talk about what she has gone through but the fact that she has to have a body guard should give Elle a clue how bad it is that no one knows all the details. Staff trying to protect Caitlin felt it would be worse for everyone to know how bad the hate and harrassment has been for Caitlin since her 20s because then it could snowball more. Reporters like Elle have to realize how bad this has been for Caitlin. These are not fans of Caitlin's causing this... it is trolls that pick popular actors and athletes and politicians and try to create chaos. The TRUE Caitlin Clark fans know that Caitlin Clark does not want anyone to use her name for any racist agenda. The TRUE Caitlin Clark Fans just want to watch True Skilled Basketball and stay out of all the chaos. Caitlin is handling all of it with more maturity than an old adult Swoopes and her friend the Sports commentator for Phoenix Mercury. So now those two are saying Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever staff need to stop all the trolls in the world. Its harder for women to get a triple double because it involves another dimension of skillsets. Surely a man does not have the technology inside him to make babies. But we do have the technology to get triple doubles. You need to be able to shoot or drive.. e.g. score... you need to be able to not be greedy and pass even though you are a threat to score.. and then you need to still have enough energy and selflessness after you pass and score to go after rebounds . Each stat affects the others. If Kelsey MItchel started passing like Caitlin Clark she might end up with only 10 or 15 points and not 20,25,even 30. Her scoring would drop precipitously. If she had to rebound also then shed be more tired out and not doing so many backcuts and fast breaks. The threes might stop falling. In order to do all three you need energy and you only get energy by being so good that you dont have to go 100 percent for every one of those stats. Its telling that Aja Wilson is not on the triple double list

Wilson is undoubtedly a great player with great stats but is she the "MVP", has she made her side better, does she make her teammates better, has she improved her side standing, I would say no to all, whereas Clark has, and she has in fact made the whole WNBA better, and the fact she is just a rookie makes it just that much more surreal. What would Clark's stats look like if she had a full pre-season with her teammates after college completion instead of two weeks and then thrown into 11 games in 20 days?? These are the questions I keep asking myself "WHAT IF".
