How common is starting 6 lines down before even putting the date? So many other format examples dont have that and this is so confusing everybody does it differently
in my class, we are instructed to start the date on line 13, and to use margin of 1.5 inch. so i was wondering if i do exactly as it stated in my book. wouldn't that take too much space. i am constantly worried about fitting my content into one page as it frustrates me when my content moves to another page. if i have to start off with 3,2 space between date and inside address. as long as my letter looks appealing, would that be okay?
Just watched it today, very simple straight forward refresher, so thank you for that!
Why the spaces at the top? for letterhead? what if there isn't any?
Very helpful.
