    So I'm going there for first time, should I have pesos when I arrive or get some there? What's the best way to get to my hotel from the airport, bus, uber?

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes, bring some pesos if you can. There will be taxis waiting for you at the airport. Just agree on a price before you let them put the bags in the trunk.

    Great Video! But Mazatlan SUCKS!!! Its dirty, the water is filthy, the service sucks, the beaches are dirty,the air stinks, and all you hear on te beaches is a bunch of FUc$ing tubas playing... Im out...

    I’m Irish but have lived in Mazatlan for 5 years, in particular on isla de la piedra (stone island) a little gem of Mazatlan, amazing beaches, calm sea, compared to the mainland and seafood straight from the fishing boats to your plate while you watch.     Hey Rob, I went through the same situation, I tried my best to research, speak to references, vet, got multiple quotes etc..., I even had the contractor that did a great job the last time that I could've have chosen but decided to get screwed lol, doesn't matter what part of the world we live in, it happens everywhere.     What's the cost of living in Queretero? Can one person live there on $2000.00 a month social security?

      $2000 USD is fine for 1 person depending on how you want to live. However, Residency requirements are getting more strict financially and the peso is strong right now vs the USD so it’s making it difficult for people to make the switch. Let me know if you need any further assistance. 👍👍

Hey, we are a family of 5 with a 17 year old and twin 13 year olds and we are moving from the US to Queretaro in about 6 weeks...We also have a Chihuahua named Diego....We've been traveling full-time for the last 6+ years all over the US and Canada in our RV and now we are ready for a new adventure...We are also looking to buy some land over time as a side project....I think we would all get along well, so hopefully we can hook up at some point! Regardless, we will be following along with your journey and hope to cya someday!! :)
