Would be wonderful to get the recipes shared out. 😀
Yes! I am working on some blog posts with the recipes!
Darn I wish I would have known about this Showcase. Next year for sure, if you have it. This was a brilliant series of videos…really enjoyed them. Congratulations
Thank you! We are definitely hoping to do some future showcases, so stay tuned!!!

Wonderful beginning to the miniseries! Much love from Cleveland, OH! I always try to stop in when I'm up visiting my dad in Duluth, as well as bring home a couple bottles of your fine spirits.
Thank you!!!!
We’re thirsty for more episodes!
:) Well stay tuned for episode 2 next week!
This sounds so dope
Have to try that. I have always just touched the ice with vermouth.😅
Eewwww look jewish
I loved this video! The cinematography and filming was so superb!
The bowl end of the spoon is for measuring. The rod end is for stirring.
Thank you! All your gins are excellent! 1) congrats on getting your gin in Total Wines. Now get them to carry it in south Florida where we live and work in the winter. 2) I make a variation on a 'Bond Martini' : 1 part Spruce gin + 1 part Superior vodka + 1/2 (or less) Dolin dry Vermouth. Shaken not stirred. Lemon spritz of course. It tastes unbelievably fresh and tastes like the North Shore in October. I've named it the 'Superior Bond'. 3) keep up the good work! Cheers!
YUM! And I promise we are working on Florida, but the three tier system sure does make it hard for a small producer. :-/ <3
You've actually made a Vesper martini as described by Ian Fleming in Casino Royale. Fleming, self-admitting, didn't know anything about making drinks, and he thought the shaken not stirred sounded good. Too much dilution in a shaken martini and ice chips. Try stirring and you'll get more essence of the cocktail.
Martinis have never been something I've been interested in - I think due to the James Bond movies and thinking they probably only taste good if you're a cigarette drinker. lol BUT! Your video has made me curious and I do own all your gins (and aquavits!) and Dolin Blanc so it looks like we may have some experimenting in our pantry coming up...
Let me know what you think as you experiment!!! :)
your Cedar gin is my absolute favorite. Thank you!
Thank you SO much!
Just wanted to say this was extremely educational, fun, and helpful. I am a college student and am using this to help me in my math class and its my 21st birthday too. Thank you for making my day!
Awww. that was sweet, bittersweet, sweet. I love Vikre even more now.
Perfect summation of the season. GIN and bear it!
Nice.. you slipped in Richard Patterson's way of getting to know the spirit. Nice video. Look forward to locating and purchasing your Spirits
Do you chill filter and color your whiskey ?Chill filtering takes away the from the oily mouthfeel. I will certainly try this being a Minnesotan. What Liqour stores sell sugarbush in the metro area?
+Corey Martin We don't chill filter or color it. We filter it through paper filters, but we don't chill it first because we want the richer taste. It doesn't generally have an oily mouthfeel. The color is all from the barrels we use. It is sold out at present, but we are releasing lot 2 on April 4. It should be available a variety of places though our distributor hasn't reported back to us where yet. I am almost sure it will be at Surdyk's, South Lyndale, Zipp's, and France 44, though.
+Emily Vikre thank you for your prompt response. I will be looking for lot 2 . Any idea on release date.?
+Emily Vikre doh April 4th
Why do you filter the sugarbush? Why not keep it the way it should be?Unfiltered and no color added
