Looks like you both had a proper adventure there lads! Good midnight grub, proper northern weather, a capsize and plenty of improvisation! Really enjoyed that mate - the canoe is a beauty too! 👍👍👍

Neal, mate what an adventure ! Nothing worse than flipping over but you both survived and made the best of a challenging situation. The stew looked awesome too. Just shows that you should always wear those floatation vests. Roll on the next adventure !
@@muddyfunster69 thanks Martin, so glad you enjoyed it. Yep there are some good lessons learned on that trip. Cheers mate 👍

I feel like chef Greg has upped his game! And it looks like uou guys certainly enjoyed thr port 😂 Although after seeing you camping on the uneven rocks this was definitely an easy mode night. Great video as always.
@@elfykin thanks so much 🙏
This is BRILLIANT! Such an enjoyable watch, and it looked like a lovely camp adventure. I lolled several times and loved hearing the much under-used words 'rascal' and 'bugger' :D Proper English. I had never heard of 'fat wood' before and also had no idea that those spiders got THAT big! Look forward to the next one.
@@timvincent44 thanks Tim hope your doing well mate, thanks so much for the compliments 🙏

How amazing it must be to wake up with no one around with those views, well other than head chef Greg (that stew looked amazing). Interesting to see how you coped with the unexpected elements, shame wasn't quite whst you wanted from the trip but very impressed with how you got past the challenges ir gave you... especially with the makeshift campsite.
@@elfykin so glad you liked it, thank you
The Welsh tourist board should be sponsoring this video! What a fantastic trail, so beautiful and really interesting with the facts you included. I'd never have guessed those concrete blocks were connected to ww2. Only bad thing was the burnt sausages, sad sad times.
@@elfykin thanks so much, am shore I am going to get a comment on my pore pronunciation of the places. It took me quite I bit of time to make this video, so again so pleased you liked it 👍
A wonderful video. looking forward to seeing many more

Loving this series. Mick is insanely good! I had no idea you could stand and paddle. He makes it look simple but I bet it's not. That's a true expert!
Hi mate did you use a Lexus dry bag? If so how was it

Cracking series mate. Very useful for planning a trip of my own with a mate. Are you from Sheffield by any chance?
Hi mate , sorry missed this message. Am from Preston. Really glad you liked the videos , I appreciate your comment mate thanks
@@nealbe hiya mate, I’ve just literally done the Spey last Monday to Friday with a mate. It was brilliant, your videos helped me out loads. Pre planning available camp spots a long the route. We saw loads of jumping Salomon, an osprey (inches away from me) A seal quite far inland, red kites, No Deere or red squirrels though.
@@BurtReynoldstash nice one mate, so glad it helped. Yep I will be going back there for shore. I have Just done the grate glen, quite different to the Spey but definitely worth a look. I filmed it but 😆 it takes me ages to put a vid together so it might be a while until it's up . Thanks again for your comments 👍
@@nealbe no worries, we’re already planning the royal dee.

Mate this video was really well put together! I think you'll do really well on TH-cam if you keep up with it 👍
Thanks Gaz , it took me ages to do, it's a very steep learning curve for me . Really pleased you like it. I struggle alot with getting the music is there an easier way?
@@nealbe not sure what you mean by 'putting music on' mate? I use TH-cam adio library which is free and also epidemic sound which you pay a subscription for
