Well after getting into seaham at 8pm we did some uranium sea glass hunting and the Next day went to find the local harbour for fishing but it was members only. So headed down the coast to staithes Found a great. Parkup £15 a night with 24 hour toilets and cafe. Quick walk down the hill into the habour to fish for mackrel to actually catch a lobster firstly via hand then via the ugly stick fish...

Went out early June and loved it. Excellent organisation and tractor moves the boarding platform so that nobody gets wet feet. Skipper excellent and all gear provided was top notch. Only down side was my grandson smashed me, getting the first mackerel onto the boat and also the largest. £20 - you can't go wrong.

But they still do like to kill my chickens. My husband loves when you go on a camping trip and make sure I have some food specially for the raccoons. He said he would love to have a troop here…. But I don’t think that’s a good idea.

Strangely..we don’t seem to have any of these cooling towers over here in Northern Ireland….there was one at our local courtaulds factory…but it was only small and they knocked it over with a jcb in the early 80s….. ps loved the drone footage from turkey…have a great Christmas and new year … Ron
