Have you tried turning 3DVR magnification off? Select+Square: 3DVR magnification on Select+Circle: 3DVR magnification off I noticed weird behavior with the Brook as well. TLDR; I connected a PS4 controller to my PC (without the Brook) and looked at the stick inputs (Windows Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers). A 360° rotation with the stick would draw a circle shape in the input preview. Doing the same with the Brook connected would draw a square shape. Contacted support, and they suggested toggling 3DVR magnification. Turned it off and works fine for me now.

Ah you silly hook swing users thinking it'll work. It's easy to counter because you leave yourself completely open to abilities, parries, and dodge + swing. I've encountered so many hook swing users and they never EVER work on me. Noobs can be taken down with them sure but so could being aggressive and unpredictable. But good luck people I'll see you the battlefield under my boot.

How do you turn right and hookswing? Turning left comes naturally because your thumb slides off the jump button straight to the right analogue stick, but turning right is just so damn awkward. Any tips?

Did you do a test running the Xbox controller wired to the adapter? That's what I'm most interested in.

I think the only possibility to reduce the input lag is using the wired cable which is obvious or theoretically using these mini bluetooth USB adapter that supports on PS4 to use other controllers if they use BT to plug the Brook Wingman XE usb port. which could possibly work without any lag. sounds bit strange but maybe that could work.

Just get a second controller and a mate to hold block and make sure u 1.jump 2. Turn 3. Swing And hopefully with enough practise you can hit them consistently! Nice vid man i post showdown clips and this was quite helpful for when I play ga/ cs

Hook swings with mouse is MUCH easier to do, but it requires more practice, because you need to approach very quickly and the mouse turn speed is so high that the swing happens faster then moving behind the back.

U do it wrong. U Strike before u Turned 180. And u Jump too high . Ill recommend doing ist in hvv and hs. This Way u might learn it but a real match is something different. Look the video from Kv Casti for a good tutorial

I’d say this is a fairly good technique but like literally just go to hero showdown and try ur best to 1v1 duel someone and just go for “only” hook swings and nothing else. I say hero showdown cause hvv is way harder when you’re getting mobbed by multiple enemies so yeah

Thank you for your video, I was thinking I bought a faulty adapter and as of today had not found anyone with this same issue, no one is talking about it. I'm also having this issue but while playing MW/Warzone with the Elite Series 1 and this wingman XE. Aiming sensitivity doesn't seem to match the ingame one, and with the original Ds4, aim is as expected. As you said, it's not something you can get used to, feels like it's not properly calibrated for FSP games and seems to randomly increase acceleration values on the right joystick no matter if you try to tilt it just a little to have more precision while trying to aim (in my case) and aim assist seems to tottaly screw it. I sent them an email hoping they could address this issue and request me to also send a video, you can send this one too as example hoping for them to address this and fix it. PS: If you plug the DS4 to the Wingman sensitivity values are also fckd up, just tried that yesterday.

ooooo pro tip on jumping and using sharpshooter u can do another right after ur first

ive experimented with some han cards and a good set up i use is replace heavily modified blaster with sharpshooters calm
