Great question. First, I want to say I hear you and I can appreciate the dilemma you’re in. The best way to cure insomnia, in my opinion is this: meditation for 5-30 minutes at night before going to bed. And 5-30 minutes first thing in the morning. Start by setting a timer. Begin with 5 minutes and slowly work your way to 30, over the course of 2 weeks. Meditation is simply turning off all distractions and closing your eyes and sitting with your thoughts. Let them come and do not try to change them. The mind will process them and then store them in “the cloud”. Meditating allows the mind to process all the data you’ve gathered throughout the day and then go into rest. Next, for anxiety all you have to do is think and speak of what you’re great full for. Here’s and exercise I do. When by myself I say out loud, “thank you Lord for this day.” Then I say ten things I am greatful for. 1. Thank you for my dogs which I love. 2. Thank you for the great coffee I had this morning. 3. Thank you for my clean clothes that keep me warm today. And I do this until I get to ten, where I say, “ 10, thank you Lord for this day and to experience it as a human being with all my senses and thoughts.” Gratitude is the cure for anxiety because it is the polar opposite of fear, which is basically what anxiety is. When you think and speak words of gratitude, your mind automatically HAS to stop being anxious because the mind can not hold conflicting beliefs. I hope these two tips work for you.

Good observation. I love Bob’s teachings. They’re really just motivation for ourselves to change our own beliefs, and the story we tell ourselves. I think the specific “teaching” or “training” comes with hired coaching. However we can simply change ourselves should we put in the effort and time. I can sum it up as, “We become what we think about.” So if we want to become successful, we must think of, and regard ourselves as successful; instead of viewing ourselves as unsuccessful. If we want to have love in our lives we must first become “loving” before we can receive love. Our thoughts dictate our emotions and our emotions dictate our actions and our actions dictate the type of life we will live/have. I feel that all of these “guru” teachings basically come down to ourselves learning to control and direct our own thoughts, emotions and actions. If we turn our thoughts, emotions and actions inwards towards a specific goal, it will most likely come into existence. I feel so many people want a “magic pill” for instant results, but the magic takes place first in our minds. Everything we need is already inside us. We simply need to have faith in ourselves and apply the right thoughts, emotions and actions to achieve anything in life. Great comment! Thanks for watching Bob!

I understand how you feel, however for those that incorporate a business, even if it is just a one person business, may offset their taxes tremendously. Plus, instead of being taxed every two weeks, a business owner only pays a small portion in tax each quarter (usually a minimal employer tax), and the final bill the following year by March 15. In addition a business will only pay tax on the net profit, whereas a W2 employee pays tax on the entire Gross income. By starting a small business, regular W2 employees can gain tax advantages of “the rich”. The government wants individuals to start businesses and rewards them for doing so. If you haven’t already, I would suggest seeking a professional CPA and incorporating a small business in an area you enjoy. Thanks for your comment.

Very good reply. I feel that most people do not realize that they can start a legit side/small business and completely offset their taxes and expenses. Plus make extra income and have it be enjoyable. Great response.

Yes. My dogs are both puppies too, and they are herding dogs, and we’re at a campground. Even though we work with them daily, I’m coming to appreciate how much effort it takes to train. Thanks for your comment.

When staying at RV campgrounds all dogs must be leased or fenced at all times. The fence serves as a safety factor for both my dogs, and any golf carts they may want to try and herd! lol. Thanks for the comment.

That is a very in depth answer and explains very well the expenses incurred by employers. Most employees simply do not understand the additional liabilities incurred by owners which the employee does not have. Great example and explanation!

Great example of how unions have shown workers to demand what they are worth and stick together. I know many unions techs that have actually started their own companies and hired only union workers. You do get what you pay for in life, be it an object or a skilled worker. Great example!
