The dermatologists are the worst fr! Who in the world prescribes birth control pills to get rid of acne!!!! OMG !!! Pills messes with your hormones once you get off of it you will have the acne 3X what you have now or had! Please dermatologists we not not doctors… you are! Please don’t make our lives miserable
“My dad telling us a 15 minute long joke” 😂
I am going through a withdrawal after stopping benzoyl peroxide and it is worst then before starting i read stories where people said it will eventually ends in months but i am losing patience and it is overwhelming
❤❤❤
I have the worst acne of my life right now. However I am working with a naturopath who specializes in acne it’s expensive!

Beautiful school campus. 🙂
Thank you Bat
Pepsi was born right here in Eastern North Carolina. New Bern North Carolina. So Coca-Cola is hard to find in North Carolina in certain areas.
Ayeee I’m going to tell my dad that! Fun little fact
@@alexislane5560 OK. Then he will understand why there was no coke. Lol
I didn't know that!
Bravo. fantastic ! 🖐

the best weekend!! that you for documenting it!!
Awww ILY Jaylee!!! Thanks for being such a wonderful and joyful friend!
You can never use differin with tretinoin at the same time that is why u are not seeing results
we are so funny i feel like i’m watching an episode of the office
me in my fettuccini alfredo daze i actually don’t even remember olive garden i think i blacked out
I thought you were in Maryland 😂
Hahah nope! FL
After watching Dr.Berg, I don’t trust doctors who just say you can only use acutane
I couldn’t agree more
TEA TREE OIL Research it if you have Cystic acne. I got cystic acne from hormonal problems and found a couple videos from women who had used it. I had a bottle on hand and began using it and I swear, within a half hour of the first application, my face looked (some of the redness/inflammation was gone)and felt better. I was using it twice a day and within 3 days all the red was gone, all the pain was gone and on day 5 it was dry and the skin was beginning to heal over. Total Convert!
That’s amazing! I’ll definitely look into that. Thank you a lot
Omg, im so happy to see that ur skin is healing well, btw do you use any sunscreen?
I do!!
Thank you so so much!
I think we should call the fact that we shouldn’t cream our face too often , it adds excess bacteria to our skin for those who has oily skin. I personally do and have been following this principle quite recently. I have to say, it has helped a lot. :)
Thank you!
Great video! Save those turtles! 🐢 You let your water run the whole time while washing your face chick.. So glad you found your perfect skin care routine!
Hooray everyone there is another treatment for acne called WinLevi. It's not tretinoin nor accutane, it's a new one, recently trialed.
Good to know!
Hii just wanted to help out a bit, this will be a very long comment, hope you see it! There are a few things you are not doing right and some others that might work better if you have dryer skin 1. If you wear makeup you should try a double cleanse. First use micellar water, make up wipes, cleansing oil or cleansing balm to reove makeup and then go with your cetaphil bar soap 2. The “toner” is not a cleanser!! Hahaha is just another step in your routine such as moisturizing. 3. While the toner has glycolic acid and thats a great ingredient, dont pair it with tretinoin or adapalene, can get irriting/give you dry skin. 4. Im not sure on this one but dont use expired tretinoin (just in case ) 5 choose just one, adapalene or tretinoin, not both. The best would be tretinoin if you are able to get a prescription for it, but if not adapalene is a great great ingredient 6. Maybe try a different moisturizer for the night, something more replenishing for your dry skin, cetaphil and cerave have great ones! La roche posay double repair mositurizer is algo a good one. 7. Wear a sunscreen its really important for the health of the skin, it prevents hiperpigamentation, acne breakouts, skin aging and of course skin cancer! Hope this helps, if you have questions ypu can just reply to my comment :)
Almost forgot, if you skin is getting often red with the toner, dont use it. You willndefinately have more benefit with the retinoids(adapalene or tretinoin)
Thank you for all this information and help! I’m going to definitely look into this. Thank you
I’m 23 and never struggled with acne until the beginning of this year/late last year. Literally never even had more than a pimple and then had cysts and closed comedones on my chin and would cry for days. I’m also super super pale so scarring was horrifying. My derm told me accutane too and I said no and left. I did more research on vitamins and supplements and so far that with a slightly changed skincare routine and cleaner diet (I’ve always eaten well, I just mean like grass fed meats, butters, etc. higher quality stuff) has cleared my skin up by about 80%. I still have closed comedones along my jaw and some small pimples on my chin (and scarring along my the sides of my mouth/jaw) but literally nothing like I had. I also turned down spiro because I have hormonal things going on I think and that messes with them, but I have friends that had success with spiro too. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to my derm, I cleared my skin without her help in 4-5 months. Again, not perfect, but way better. I actually know a ton of people struggling with adult acne and many drs have mentioned COVID, masks, and more tragedy/stress has caused acne and hair loss more than ever. I believe it! Good for you!
I’m so sorry you’re going through this!! It’ll get better with time!
@@alexislane5560 are you still on the spiro? Glad you found something that worked for you!
I think cetaphil facewash will be better than saop cz It's more gentle.
Pro tip! Thank ya

Did differin helped with your acne?
Yes!! Great stuff. Helped mostly with scarring

just here to see you. rather than your skin care routine
Alexis, whatever you’ve been through, you always want to help others and be an encouragement to them. You never waste a life lesson, and I love that about you. Whatever God does IN you, He will do THROUGH you.
Awww I love you so so is much!!! Thanks for being such a great role model to me!

OMG I have a friend that LOVES Salt & Vinegar Almonds!!! You guys are just alike!
No way! Whoever she is, she must have really good taste buds.
This just popped up for me... Hope you're doing well. Sharing my story.. I started getting acne at 13. Suffered, suffered, suffered... I was in tears every day and felt like the ugliest person on earth. At 29 I finally built up the courage (yes, it took me that many years) to go to my Dr make-up free and have the discussion... I went on Roaccutane for a 6mth cycle. It changed my life. I wish I took it earlier. I lost 15yrs of my life suffering from bad skin. I had no friends and zero social life. I don't even think I could find 1 photo of myself for that entire period of my life. I'm now 36 and still get a little acne just before my period is due. Otherwise I'm all good. Thank you for sharing your story. If you havent had to live with acne, you cannot understand the suffering it causes.
What kind of homemade masks you used to do. I’m currently on amensteem to clear my acne. So facemasks will be good if i applied from outside. Thanks
That’s awesome!!
U can also get pimples at age 41 , I am going through it now at age 41 never had this problem till now it’s horrible , thank u for ur advice
I’m so sorry! You’ll get through it :)
Oh my gosh! You can’t do AHA then differin and then Trent! AHA will make the retinol break down as it’s a very delicate molecule. Do the retinols at night only (choose only one)
Thank you for the advice!
@@alexislane5560 don’t listen to them girl just do what works for you
@@principality543 It's not your place to tell her wether she has to listen or not, its her choice.
I have the cethaphil moisturizer for almost a year and i never realized how important it is until recently, i have a very bad acne but not cystic but its bad.. im serious. I regret not doing skin care, im a very straight guy and when i hear "skin care" i was like "thats a girl thing why would i do that" and i regret it 😂
Hahahaha that’s so funny but yeah it’s very important!! And eating healthy plays a big role in your skin too!!
Good food is the best!!
Yeah that sounds about right
i look musty but this was a good day
You do NOT look musty thank you very much but yes it was a GREAT day. Sleep when you’re dead
I have cystic acne since 10 years. What should i do?
I’m so sorry to hear that :( first off… your skin doesn’t define you but I know it can be frustrating when you can’t heal it!! I’d first go to a physician if you’re able to and if not I’d change your diet!
Best of luck to you!
@@alexislane5560 i have consulted with many dermatologists but they're saying its hormonal acne, they can't be cured
Insulin resistance, diabetes of the skin. Otherwise fungal acne. No sugar/breads is a absolute. Use Vit a cream at night and dont overstrip your skin with cleansers etc. Take Cod liver oil and zinc and get reflexology to balance systems and find faults 🙏🙏
Hello Alexis, I sent you a message through IG. Keep safe always!
Hey thank!!
Hello! Really enjoyed your video. As someone who is recently dealing with acne I was diagnosed with PCOS and for that reason, all of your acne symptoms sound like PCOS acne. Spironolactone blocks/masks the effects of high androgens. So as soon as you stop it your acne may come back. Androgens are the result of a hormonal imbalance. If one hormone is off then other will be too, so I would suggest checking all of sex hormones through blood tests. Good luck! 😊
Thank you so much for this information!! Thanks for sharing what you have been through. I’ll definitely keep this in mind! Have a good day
The derm did the same shit to me kept constantly recommending acutane when we said no multiple times use seamosssssssssssssssss face mask every morning and night and then do a cinnamon turmeric honey mask twice a week for dark scars
That’s awesome! I’m so glad you stood up for yourself since you didn’t feel comfortable with that. Turmeric is great for inflammation
