Yep! A little while ago, before some recent special ammo changes, you used to spawn with 2 shots of special ammo!

I totally get you! Even just getting one of the massive damage bullets is huge, and the teamshot potential is right there. Mag howl for 6v6 can lead to some INSANE streaks!!

Honestly fair! I usually main solar warlock, but icarus dash is disabled in this mode and I crutch that ability SO hard on warlock XD

Blade barrage giveth, and it taketh. The RNG gods are fickle!

it's a blessing and a curse. It's great because it counters the wells and bubbles in trials, but it's a curse because it's probably a *bit* too easy to get the freeze or detonation, and it's EVERYWHERE

Literally everyone is using this shotty. You probably are too so why you coming after this guy? Go after the big streamers like GernaderJake

Least I'm not using SMG, plus peacekeeper and void titan with it XD. It's the best shotgun because of the meta and because it is a bit too easy to get the freeze with. I rarely run it in 6s, but if it lets me OHK a team of bubble titans I'm willing to settle for the lesser evil!

There are literally better legendary shotguns in the game. The reason this shotty sees so much play is just because it does a good job at killing supers, specifically well and bubble, the two most obnoxious supers, so want this thing gone? Ask Bungo to tone down or remove supers from competitive play

It doesn't need an Nerf If anything it should be buffed in range. There is no reason why you raid shotgun should not be a strong weapon

I SUCK with the throwing knives so much XD But I do have to try the aimbot throwing knive gloves at some point! Auto rifles in general also got huge buffs with the range changes, so it might be time to throw this on!

I go through phases on them! Sometimes I love them and can use them no problem, other time I can't hit any shots and I never get kills lol. But sturm just feels SO consistent, and the sound and sights on it are clean. It's just a consistent gun!

That would be sick! It would be a huge buff for the HC, although might be a bit too strong given the current high damage rounds hit for like 140 damage iirc. Given some of the shotgun warriors out there (myself included), that's a lot of potential two taps on the table! It would certainly shoot sturm up into the top tier of power though!

@@RyanphoenixGaming I think a 25% chance would be balanced enough. That's a 1 in 4 chance of getting the high damage round and then all it will do is allow your sturm to 2 tap someone. In a game mode like Trials it won't be Broken since you rely on RNG. But I don't see it happening since bungie doesn't like RNG Damage. Hence the Hawkmoon rework.

definitely agree that bungie would be unlikely to implement that sort of change! As you said, they don't like RNG damage, but they are also trying to remove other sources of RNG, like reworking pellet shotty spreads, the recent recoil changes, etc! Still a neat idea, and would add a lot more usefulness to it's perks when not using drang!

I haven't tried using drang in checkmate yet! I definitely do see how a double primary loadout could work well though!

I'm just honestly happy I got that much done lol. I really thought I had wasted it on that one guy who died right after I popped it, but yeah, managed to get a block on the stasis super and pick up a few kills. By no means an S tier super pop.

I have not yet gotten my god roll :( I got a max range slideshot opening shot, but it doesn't have a ton of stability

I'm going to miss them so much. Really really wish they didn't hit them so hard, especially with titans having dunes and warlocks with T steps. Both passively bump your sprint and slide, and that's part of what makes stompees so good.

I got REALLY lucky with some of those kills. I wasn't really even able to think!

Good eyes! Definitely got saved by having solar holster on more than once!

There's pros and cons to elim based trials vs zone trials, but overall I like elim more than zones. Being able to make the clutch triple kill to win a round feels so much more satisfying than an (admittedly VERY lucky) well of radiance play to win by capping. No way do I win this without the well, but if the cap wasn't there I drop the well as soon as I kill the second guy and hope I can use the well to zone off the other player so I can either two tap with the damage buff, or get the rez. I would've much preferred being able to win this match without the super and zone, but it was our flawless match and we were down 3-2, so needed the round win!

@@RyanphoenixGaming I meant it makes certain rounds into free wins, all too many as many times as did sherpas last two weeks. It's crazy annoying to be 4-4 and lose to solely a well or bubble and free rez and cap

@@SyIis Can 100% agree to this. Bubble and well are too strong and need to catch, at the very least, a nerf to how fast they recharge. It's also just a boring way to play imo. What do you think is stronger, well or bubble?

It was more to highlight the freeze that I got on him with the shotty. Even if the sniper hadn't have yoinked the kill on the frozen super the melee does kill, every super in the game in fact will die to the shotgun + freeze + melee shatter combo!

Indeed it is! But if you land all of your pellets you freeze the super and can be guaranteed to get the shotgun melee, which is NOT something that other shotties can do.

@@RyanphoenixGaming 99% of the time Heritage is going to be better.

It is not 40 meters, even with lunafactions and an empowering rift it's 25m or so. Offhand strike might push that out an additional few meters, but you also cannot usually get the shotty melee against a super, and you have the additional difficulty of hitting a crit! Different roles for slugs and pellets imo, both excel at different things

@@RyanphoenixGaming It was a hyperbolic statement... Probably. Offhand Strike isn't just a few meters. It allows Heritage to far surpass even Chaperone.

Oh definitely, but that's true for any super with the block ability. Conditional Finality being able to freeze the super gives way more survivability.

Good luck with the farm! I got pretty good RNG after doing the questline on all 3 of my characters, I now have 3 round robins crafted!! I haven't yet put a ton of time into the pulse yet tbh! I've always liked headseeker, might have to give it a go!

Hey! You can get a free red border round robin by completing the "From Zero...To Hero" questlines from Nimbus after completing the campaign. (Two different quests, you do "From Zero" first, then get the "To Hero"). If you do that on all 3 characters, you'll get 3/5 of the patterns needed! From there, you can get the other red borders by either increasing your rep with Nimbus on neomuna, or completing the legendary patrols (marked by a "Gold" looking marker on the map!). Happy to make a vid on how to find these patrols, but lots of vids already out there on it!

This roll has Enhanced Keep Away and Enhanced Kill Clip! I also have fluted barrel, richochet rounds, and a stability MW!

Honestly hard to tell how much is the base HC and how much are the perks on it. 120s with KC are just so good, and keep away is honestly S tier. I have a full vid coming soon!

Not AS bad as stasis when it dropped, but getting suspended is almost always a death!

Easily! Not only does it trigger on dodge like dragon shadow, it gives AE + handling (albeit less handling), and you can refresh the perk with kills or dodging. It's very easy to chain and keep it up, and it also can boost your teammates.

It really does! 100% my go to for the season!

Yep! You can do that, so long as nothing breaks line of sight between you and the person you are grappling! We've towed 4 people behind a single sparrow in Neomuna!
