Very interesting, thank you for sharing. Considering the kind of stocks you like, I'm surprised you're not in $NMM. Incredibly cheap vs both NAV and FCF, buyback program in place, great short/medium/long term potential. Maybe not too easy to buy a meaningful position directly, but plenty of interesting LEAPs available if needed. Lake Cornelia Research Management did a great job on it recently, their memo is freely available.

Anyone - How to identify public companies operating under SEC rule 15c(2)-11. Can you share how I can ID a public stock $NOVCQ that only allows Expert Investors to trade aka buy and how I can find a journal of those holding this issue? Fortress/EJF Capital aka FBR with Board & MassMutual Jefferies $JEF& White Mountains Capital $WTM control the Board. I saw in a journal David Dreman of Dreman Value Mgt added 533,000 shares along with Talkot Capital 1.9Mowned by Thomas Akin former CEO of DX Capital along with Blackrock, Putnam, Goldman Sachs. $NOVCQ Board with Fortress, EJF Capital aka FBR restructured $DX which today pays a .13 ct common dividend every month to NOVCQ Board.

Lying Mark-said they are open to buyouts but forgets to mention that they enacted a poison pill to dilute anyone that buys over 5% of the company. The only good thing this management is good at is...protecting themselves while fending off any interested investors. Don't forget they had to settle a lawsuit with shareholder for ~$20M for failure to disclose how bad the El Dorado expansion was and kept understating and downplaying it while the issues led the company toward bankruptcy. He keeps talking about ESG, but forgets to mention the tons of ammonia that spilled after coming out of their AR plant in 2022 (check the EPA records). But go-ahead and believe this lying snake.
