Deadpool & Wolverine Review - Wishes Are Fulfilled as Mutants Go Big in the MCU
It was a good movie. It hit me in the feels as well. 😢
I actually like the first Venom movie. Though messy, I thought it was fun. That being said, I did not like this movie. I found myself rewriting the story in my head as I was watching it. My story would have focused more on Eddie/Venom and the family they meet. That’s where the heart of the story and their ultimate sacrifice lies. Missed opportunity to finish off the series in a strong way. Just my two cents.
I loved this show and I hope we get more of Agatha, Billy, and Jen (I thought her story is incredibly compelling). And, I hope we get to meet Tommy. Good stuff.
The Hugh Grantaissance continues! I grew up with him playing the romcom roels like Four Weddings, Nottinghill etc so its great we are getting to see different sides of him
Great review Eric and I wish I had that shirt. I just saw Anora and loved it. Sean Baker is becoming one of my favorite directors. 😊
Wandavision is great and Agatha feels like a good follow-up. But I do think we can agree, Loki is clearly the best MCU show.
Loki is up there for sure (It was great start to finish and I loved how it ended), though WandaVision remains my favorite.
Cannot wait to see this movie and Hugh Grant as the villain
Isabela and David were AMAZING in Alien Romulus, it's so cute seeing them together again in a new interview! ❤
Naomi scott did great! Little long and felt it i think? The dance crew scene creeped me out
She was really fantastic
Hello Eric, i just found your channel, the last time i saw a video of you was a fandom review for Obiwan some years ago. I was wondering why I hadnt seen you on there for a while, I guess you must have left? it seems they are laying people off. I will keep following your channel for sure!
I was actually at Fandom until this January, so was still popping up on stuff, but yep, I was part of a round of layoffs (was bummed to see it happened to more folks this past week). Thanks very much for the follow!
@@theericgoldmanDo you think Visionquest will serve as almost the finale of a trilogy?
@@theericgoldman Your welcome. I will be following your channel for sure for future videos! I used to love the reviews you and Kim did (I hope she is well too). Lucking forward to hearing your thoughs on the penguin once the season is finished , Im loving it so far!
Any plans to do any MCU rankings (the shows, phase 5, the whole MCU, etc) now that the show is done?
I have been thinking about doing some MCU rankings - most likely by phase.
Never been a Hugh Grant fan, but for some reason I am just super hyped to see him in this role. :edit: Dang, it's still not on streaming!
The word vegetables was also on the wall crossed out 😅
Damn, Isabela is hot!!!!
Will wait for the home release on this one. I'm definitely in the same boat as you on these movies.
It's great seeing both Isabela and David doing an interview together. They were both absolutely the stand out performances in the film!!
Keanu Reeves is a fucking beautiful human being in everyway
They should've done without the mics. I can understand them better without em.
Yeah, it's the pros and cons of sitting near the front - had a great view of the Q&A but the mics/speakers are meant for people sitting further back so it ends up garbled sitting as close as I was.
Maybe they should've listened to his wife's instincts...
Trues
It's good that's not what happened because they pulled it off beautifully.
@@erikdavies2572 if by beautifully you mean terribly than sure
@@DexterMorrigan No it sure is not.
@@erikdavies2572 I'm afraid you're mistaken good sir
This far exceeded my expectations, great to see in the theater. The choreography and music are legit and then legitimately terrifying.
Great review, will need to check out. Thank you!
Is it as good as the substance though?
I personally think they are both great and on par with eachother but I like them both for different reasons
Yes! They're both brilliant.
We liked it! Exactly what we were expecting based on the marketing.
They say that art has some kind of power to make his victims not die and experience all the torture😶
Still wondering how Alice had her Powers before the group completed the Witches Road. Or due to them colpleting her trial in the previous episode?
I feel like she did all of that as a code switching and all the pain and hurt just putting those walls back up !!! And be the evil witch that they say she is
I kind of feel like it's a mixture - because she has genuine feelings and probably partially feels bad about what happened to Alice for sure, but a part of her is so genuinely power hungry and does relish in it and that part can easily overtake her too.
NXT also introduced me to Billie Eilish with You Should See Me in A Crown. Great song choice! Not only for the title and lyrics, but of course the artist's name
Yes relating it to Buffy!!! I've been seeing Agatha as like Dark Willow the whole series. With her addiction to magic and the path that leads to AND OMG WICCAN!!! 💙👑🫶
Agatha called him biking before she under the mud
Bah, I totally missed Jennifer and Lilia's blue Teen-possessed eyes in that final scene, so never mind them making that choice on their own!
Why do i have a feeling wiccan is on the witches road to.....bring back wanda???
Or find her…
@@uselesshuman7644 and bring her back to the living
Yep, feels quite likely!
The sequence from Terrifier 2 still stands as the grossest kill I have ever seen
It's pretty gnarly!
This one is off limit for killings. Some of them are just so twisted...

EXACTLY
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -- John 3:16 KJV
I fall asleep (watching the movie).
It just goes from scene to scene with nothing in between. How does everyone know everything without us seeing them learning it first hand. Everyone just knows everything. This movie does suck. It's an utter mess. I know now why it was shelved for so long. Of course the reason maybe everyone knows everything is this movie was at one time supposed to be 3 hours long, but they cut just under 1 hour 10 from it. All the explanation was cut out. Crazy. . And Lewis Pullman - well, David Soul must be turning in his grave.
GJ, this is of course what happens when knobs in suits interfere in movie productions; they are best served snorting coke in the mensroom until their noses bleed, and staying out of the producers way.... perhaps everybody can ease off scathing on Dauberman until the full director's cut is eventually made available to us schmucks?
I Should "Should" LOVE Psycho Goreman, and this. but the little Girl in Psycho Goreman was written SO Terribly and Irritating, i couldn't enjoy the movie at all. she was more of a Villain than Psycho Goreman was. but looking at the pictures for this movie, i thought it was A.I. Generated Pictures until you showed them actually moving. i don't know. i just don't think this guys movies are for me. but i LOVE the "Little Monsters" type movies. so its sad its like that. who knows, maybe i'll like this one more.
I have seen how polarizing that girl can be in Psycho Goreman but I love her. I love how annoying she is, even as I get why it's not for everyone.
A fusion between the original and the remake would be perfect
That was harder to watch than any Saw movie Eric. I haven't felt like this since Saw 4.
Actually I haven't felt this way since Requiem for a Dream
It's absolute shite
It wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t good. Rushed. 1979 is still my go to. I really hope they leave silver bullet alone
I was so pumped but aside from a couple of scenes, it was a big disappointment
Big time. I'm watching the 1979 one tonight.
Thx 4 the review!! 🎃🍿🎃🍿🎃
Its pretty good for a 2hr run time. Alot of cry babies saying its not the same as the 1st mini series...how bout you go read the NOVEL
I actually like the movie. The new Barlow was wicked looking. The new renditionfilled in the holes the first film left out. It was a good movie. Dauberman did a good job.
This was awful!! I was beyond disappointed based on the cast and the 1979 version and the movie writer pedigree. Not 1 jump scare! This was planned for theaters and the special effects were almost 60’s bad. There have been episodes of the old walking dead that had more tension and wow how did they do that. The lead vampire was comical in the light and Nicolas cage was a better vampire in renfeld. I wish I had seen your review last night before sitting down and watching this.
I really enjoyed the 2004 version with Rob Lowe. Although a lot of critics didn't like it. That adaptation was far more fleshed out than the 1979 mini series. Rutger Hauer was brilliant as the Vampire Barlow. Primarily because Hauer's version was in normal human form. The rest of the cast from the 2004 version were also great.
Really good review, absolutely spot on. It's a shame, such a wasted opportunity. Felt more like a parody of the 1979 version than a retelling from the book. No character development at all. A series of set pieces to fit all the 'scares' in the shortest possible time. This only serves to prove how good the original mini series really was.
I felt like things happened so fast. 1979 from what I remember was scarier.
I really liked the movie. It wasn't what I was expecting, and it wasn't perfect, but I still enjoyed it and respect what I think Phillips and company were going for. I think a lot of people wanted to see Joker and Harley running around burning the city down, building off the end of the first movie. But instead, I think the movie is more interested in exploring people's reactions to the first movie. Lee and the Joker's supporters represent those who look at Phoenix's Joker as a hero or an inspiration, someone who's speaking up for them. Similarly, there are people like Arthur's lawyer who almost baby him and make excuses for his behavior - he's an innocent victim who was bullied his whole life; it's not his fault he pushed back in a moment of hysteria. And then there are those like the prison guards who see him as just a freak or a monster, and it's not worth thinking about why he did what he did. I agree that the movie feels less like a sequel and more like an epilogue. And although I enjoyed most, if not all, of the musical parts, I think some of the song choices and set pieces could have been better. It also could have used more of Lady Gaga's Lee. Part of me wonders if they expected (or even wanted) the reaction to be mostly negative. The message seems to be whether you enjoyed or hated the first movie, you were wrong. Arthur isn't a hero. And even though the horrible things that happened to him don't excuse his behavior, we shouldn't dismiss them either.
Anyway, great review Eric!
@@himynameisjohn Thanks very much!
