I'm sure all of those well-meaning hearts were not referring to those who have had their homes & properties decimated & their lives utterly DESTROYED! Even then, for the kid's own well-being & reassurance, they could still be "schooled" in the ways of life & love & faith & family & endurance during incredible hardships ...etc. In other words, as tempting as it might be (if the parents are lucky / blessed enough to find a sitter while they try to put things back together somewhat) let the children who are old enough learn to help in anyway possible; let them stand beside you & learn how neighbors help neighbors; "school" them in how to have faith against all odds!! THESE lessons will stay in their hearts & minds & will be carried with them always!!

With all the help becoming available to these areas. Why not distribute laptops and power supplies for them. So that some sort of home schooling could be arranged. Things like this were used in COVID situations. I’m sure with the knowledge of the people that have come together, something could be figured out.🙏🏼🤞🏻👍🏻

Don’t worry about the schools. These life lessons are far more important than school right now. Let the kids be involved in helping. High school kids can be a huge help, not just with manual work but letting them be with those who are doing more logistics work. Elementary can learn a lot too and be great helpers. They will all learn how to help others, how to work together, how to think issues out, how to creatively solve issues. They will learn far more than any school, especially woke, would ever be able to teach them. Maybe they will be ready for college, someday, far more than the woke snowflakes that are there now. Or maybe some will skip college and go into apprenticeships and trades. They will get first hand experience on the importance of those.

These children are at the university of life. They will learn so much from surviving this disaster. But they will be traumatised. Four years on from horrific fires here in Australia, just the smell of smoke sets me off. I dont know how my grandson feels although he was hospitalised for extreme stress after we escaped one fire. Watch these little ones carefully. Bless you all. 🩵

I would have liked to have watched this, as I live in Western North Carolina, but I had to click off because of the noise and music. A little bit of music goes a long way. Children can learn so much from this. It's unconventional learning but valuable. They are learning lessons about government, community, neighbors, home & themselves.

Some banned books that refer to s3x are not always bad. Like *Speak*. Books like that can be so helpful for ppl who were r@p3d and feel alone & have "no voice". It spreads awareness, too. Allow the upcoming generation to learn perspectives of ppl completely unlike theirs. We need more open-mindedness and understanding of each other to move forward.

We live in upstate SC and homeschool our kids. I would love to send basic math, English and history books up to them....although you can also just make up games and create those lessons without any books...and most of the time the kids learn better that way!
