( I know someone already commented this but I’m gonna say it too) everyone does hate on Demi for talking over/for Eli, but it doesn’t seem to click in some of y’all’s brains that Eli was a shy,bullied kid. He didn’t like talking to new people bc he was too scared of what they might say. Demi also being a bullied kid understands the fact that Eli doesn’t like talking so instead of letting people think Eli is rude for not responding to them, he speaks FOR him. We can tell that eli prefers Demi to talk for him so that he doesn’t hav to say anything at all. Me personally I’m not a huge fan of Demi just bc he does say some out of pocket and annoying things. But I found it sweet that he watches over Eli. He’s like a protective older brother to Eli and ILOVE THAT! So I hope yall understand what I’m saying lol

I love demitri as a character. He starts off so nerdy and neurotic and awkward. Even when he joins miyagi do he’s weird. But as soon as he learns to stop thinking about using his muscles in karate, and learns to use his brain (something he has more confidence in) he becomes such a formidable character!
