I got this on clearance at at Guitar Center for a great price and couldn't pass it up! I just love it! I got home and set it up to my liking. Got this thing dialed in just right! It makes you want to rock! My Harley Benton SC-450 Plus LD Vintage series is just amazing! I love the pickups! After experiencing a few losses of very close loved ones last year. I have been seeing orbs on a regular basis. This is an Idea I had while playing bass guitar. From the forthcoming album "This That & The Other" I hope to finish up soon. Thanks for tuning in! :)

Me too! I was just playing it. I did change out the tuners later to Grover deluxe, Had do drill out the holes, but worth it. The stock tuners seemed to be fine though. I did prefer the color. Great guitar after two years. Also picked up an Epiphone case.

I picked one up about a month ago now. Im very impressed with the quality and workmanship at that price range. Had to fine tune the action and had a little saddle buzz, no big deal. I think im going to replace the bridge pickup, i find it pretty bland and weak. Overall great guitar for the money. Great chops by the way 👍👍
Thanks. I replace the tuners and had a set up done on mine and I love the way it sounds. I think a pickup upgrade is a good Idea though. Great guitar for the price! I got mine on clearance last year, $70.00 off regular price.
whats the difference between this model and the standard?
This model is only available from Guitar Center. They had 3 colors, gold, metallic cherry red and black. The tuners are the old school kind and it has the coil split feature. Other than that it’s really the same. It has the pro bucker pickups.

Ive got one of these in Sparkling Burgundy, and couldn't be happier with it. Had to get it set up, and I also swapped out the knobs for a set of reflectors, but after that it's perfect. Epiphone seems to have really upped their SG game---I'm a long time Les Paul player and spend most of my time playing SG's now.

Yeah we have a Epi Sg Special over here. A pelham Blue. 2 epi pickups 700T 650R somewhat like EVH pickups from the You Really Got Me Ibanez. Supposedly. I think they sound ok. Thinking about switching one out for the Epi Alnico Pro Vintage HB from a Epi L.Paul Trad pro 3. Swap em out. Or maybe taking a plunge in to a Duncan JB or something like that. I prefer Duncans. All good I have a few guitar wiring projects to do. My input jacks go out. Cheers!

i just got one the very same color! took 2 mint strat style guitars and some cash n bagged me an sg woooo! are all 4 pots cts? so this means i need to order the correctly splined knobs.....im gonna put mick ronson vibe knobs on mine...
I changed out the tuners to grovers. I had to drill the holes bigger, but the grovers are sturdier and have more room to wind. Great guitar!
torn between the 2 biggest "one and done" styles; Les Paul, stratocaster... SG is right in the middle and seemingly the best of both sounds

It's called the SG Traditional Pro. Only available from Guitar Center. It has the coil split feature.

I was really looking for a Les Paul style, but I do have a Gibson SG and an Epiphone SG, which I love. I would definitely try the Harley Benton DC-580 if you like that style. You can't go wrong. I think it would sound very similar. also very light and comfortable.
