The Best Goat’s Milk Bath Bomb Recipe | Rock Hard & Ultra Moisturizing!
The Best Goat’s Milk Bath Bomb Recipe | Rock Hard & Ultra Moisturizing!
These bath bombs are my go-to because they come out rock hard, fizz beautifully, and leave your skin feeling incredibly soft! I seriously can’t keep them in stock during the winter here in Canada-everyone loves them. In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I make them, step by step.
✨ GOAT’S MILK BATH BOMB RECIPE (Makes 10 Bath Bombs) ✨
Dry Ingredients:
1341 g baking soda
54 g cream of tartar (helps harden the bath bombs)
35 g SLSA (adds bubbles; wear a mask when handling)
12 g kaolin clay (smooths skin)
12 g goat’s milk powder (for ultra-soft skin)
Optional: 1-2 tsp mica or natural clays for coloring
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. If using mica or clays for natural coloring, add them now.
Wet Ingredients:
5 g shea butter (melt in microwave in short bursts)
11 g light oil (e.g., grapeseed or sweet almond oil)
9 g polysorbate 80 (helps oils disperse in water)
24 g isopropyl alcohol
24 g fragrance oil or essential oil blend (check usage rates)
Melt the shea butter, then combine it with the other wet ingredients. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring as you go.
Finishing Steps:
Add 902 g citric acid and mix well.
Spray the mixture 5 times with water (to help bind), mixing thoroughly after each spray.
Firmly press the mixture into bath bomb molds.
💡 TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
✔️ Don’t over-wet the mixture-just enough water to hold together.
✔️ Pack the molds tightly to ensure a rock-hard bath bomb.
✔️ Let them dry for 24 hours before using.

Demo would be appreciated 😊 but thank you for this detailed video!
Oh good idea, I didn’t think of that. I’ll be sure to include one in my next bath bomb video so you can see who they react.
Very helpful! Thank you
I am so glad it was helpful!
Lovely and simple. ❤
thank you!
Do you use a 50/50 lye water solution,
I see a lot of soap makers use a 50/50 lye solution but I don’t - mine is about 30 percent lye to water. Its just how I learned and never tried another way
Must see the cut please!! ❤❤ beautiful. Also love heat transfer method.
Ahhhh lovely video but you need to show the cut, it feels incomplete without it😢
Great video
@@karenurbanski5004 thank you - soap making is my passion and hope if shows through
New subscriber! I am in the states (Virginia) . I love making candles(and soap from our goat milk!!) I use beeswax and it was a learning experience for sure !! I almost gave up!! BUT finally have a consistent product! I love that you use apricot wax! ~jc
@@SteadfastTrailFarm amazing! I just checked out your channel and will binge watching here shortly!!!!
@WillowandPip awe! Thank you! I haven't really been consistent! But plans for vlogging in 2025 are well on their way! ☺️
Do you find that your soap labels ever slip off? I have a narrower label, but it's attached the same way, and they slip off over time. Your products look fantastic!
@@trishapomeroy9251 if I let my Soaps cure for at least 4 weeks then the bands stay on pretty good. I find if I add the band in less time, the soap may still be curing and therefore shrinking, causing the band to slip.
