@@eaglewatcher290 yes Ron, he gave his seat in the plane to The Big Bopper because he was ill but Waylon couldn't forgive himself for joking with Buddy Holly about the plane crashing cos Buddy had joked about Waylon's bus freezing up & not long after poor Waylon resorted to cocaine, but luckily we've had all those years of his brilliant music, then he was lucky enough to marry Jessie who finally helped him to quit, but I don't think that happened till early eighties. Will look forward to that, his voice just seems to be specially good at that time in the seventies, which is surprising with him taking all those drugs. In that autobiography I told you about he said he felt good taking them & often didn't sleep for 4/5 days at a time. Quite amazing, it's a wonder he lived as long as he did.
