Honestly at first I wasn’t into their dynamic because I was taken back by all the romantic undertones in a sci-fi show and just didn’t really feel necessary or good when dealing with roses potential love interest. I also was feeling that it would’ve been interesting if because 9 and 10 are different that it caused rose to rethink her romantic feelings for the doctor and realize she saw him more as a friend and mentor of sorts. But now that I think about it , it actually makes some pretty good sense. Like roses attraction to the doctor in all fonts is evident and obvious because I feel like rose deep down probably loves the doctor for his inner values and self that doesn’t change no matter what incarnation. But for 9, he meets rose and realizes she has this love for discovering and knowledge and justice just like him, while also a more youthful and optimistic spirit about things compared to him who has been dragged down by war and trauma, he begins to open up and feel more free with her and genuinely loves her character and humanity, so when he sacrifices his present self to survive, he is influenced by her more and becomes more like her personality wise and youthful. And in theory this actually makes sense for why their romantic feelings for each other don’t change, because though people do like the opposites attract dynamic a lot in fiction, in real life(though not always the case) humans tend to be more attracted to people who are similar to us. Like I said, it’s not always the case and you absolutely can love someone with a opposite personality to you, but it makes sense that people get along more if they have more in common. Which explains so well why the doctor and rose still are attracted to each other, because now they have even more in common than they did before. Ps: I love how in series 2 we get to see more of Billie’s acting skills. She’s really fun to watch

At the end scene when rose learned that tentoo/the meta-crisis doctor will age you can see the hope in her eyes when she says "you'll grow old at the same time as me?" showing that she had given up the idea of actually having a human life with the doctor. She was prepared to be happy with whatever the doctor could give her, and the idea of a human relationship with both of them hand-in-hand living, aging and growing old together she didn't let herself consider it. Side note: Personally I accept the deleted scene of rose and tentoo growing their own TARDIS and traveling the stars for the rest of their mortal lives, let me have my light-hearted romance spinoff.

I'm sorry liz and max aren't soul mates the are a codependency relationship a hero worship relationship because he save her life we saw red flags in season 1 and in season 2 he didn't treat her well the way he spoke to her manhandled her humiliated her in front of tess and Kyle and even when they got back together again he wasn't treating her well even liz said she wasn't feeling love from max it was a cop out to me to have tess say he loves liz because he sure wasn't acting like or treating her like it people needs to wake up call it what it is toxic relationship liz was putting max feelings and needs before hers that's not okay if max really loved liz he would've never let her risk her own life or future robbing that storekeeper if max says jump off a building would she do it because she loves him I loved that the writers gave liz a backbone and standing up for herself and max after alex death I never understood why they took turned her back to weak liz doing whatever he says like wake up people this isn't a healthy relationship it isn't love I hated they had her running straight back to max arms after they found out who killed Alex max just told her tess was pregnant and how he treated her and she deserved better than that it made no sense for liz to marry max I wish they kept liz backbone after alex died allowed her the growth to relize her relationship with max isn't healthy that they are better as friends not a couple I would've been ok with liz ending the season single not as a couple

Now that i look at this and it sucks that it's too late but i wish she didn't marry max i would've loved if she stayed single and turned him down like i would've been fine if she ended the season single like she finds forgiveness and let go of the hurt and pain for her sake but comes to a realization that her and max are better as friends not a couple like in season 2 he didn't treat her well and even when they got back together he wasn't a good boyfriend to her i wish she said no to the marriage proposal and decided to be done with relationship and just stay friends but still goes on thr road with them and tell him she will always be there for him as a friend i wish they kept her backbone they gave her when alex died .

These are the kind of moments I missed in the first Disney season. Team building.

I do like Ncuti overall but I think the biggest difference with the new series is how little the writers gave Millie to do as a companion. She just kinda existed where Donna and Rose made real differences.
