My cousin shared this version on FB because she recently lost her mom. 13 months before that I lost my mom, & listening to this hit real hard!!! My mom had some skeletons that she had recently revealed to me years before her passing & she was so worried I was mad at her & did not love her!!! Now it's my turn to chase the monsters away!! I miss her so damn much!!!!

I lost my Mom 16 days ago. I was her caretaker for the past seven months. I am so lost without her. My day started with her and ended with me tucking her into bed, telling her I loved her and kissing her on the forehead. She was so brave. She was the strongest woman I know. She was not afraid to die but she was afraid of what would happen to me. She worried if I will be ok. I told her I would not be ok at first and I already had missed her and she wasn't gone yet. I keep going because I promised her I would. But this is hard.
