Testing my X-Trail at Mabilingwe in the same place that I tested my Mahindra 4x4. The X-Trail did excellent and could go up steeper than the Mahindra could previously. I was too chicken to try the axle twister though as the rain had washed it out badly

With my Wife breaking her knee and no longer being able to climb up into the roof top tent I had to make a plan for those quick get aways where the caravan or dome tent would not work. This was the first time I ever set it up on my own other than the fitting and measurements that where done at the manufactures. No I was not sponsored but paid full price for the tent. Driving to the lookout point at Mabalingwe

This is the route to the lookout point off Pitsi road. I suggest only 4x4 because you need low range to be able to go over the rocks slowly. A 4x2 could make it but you would probably end up damaging the vehicle and will definatly damage the environment

Having some fun at Mabalingwe. Learning how the vehicle operates and just taking it slow. Almost got myself stuck between two humps. 235/65 HT rated tires @ 2.2Kpa front and 2Kpa rear

Hijacked beer truck in Bushbuckridge

This was a beer truck that had apparently been hijacked, Cops motion the cars to drive over the curb to pass around the front of the truck. Sorry for the poor quality, I am still learning 20/01/2016
BMW driver at road works

BMW driver overtakes on the wrong side of road works and almost collides with workers stationary vehicles. Very poor quality as I am still learning to setup my car cam

@@jacobgipsz1715 Yeah it works fine. But i think i will reinforce, where the tent meet the corners. Seems a bit weak around the tailgate.

What a view! Are you satisfied with the Mahindra? Would you recommend it?
This was the old 2.5 diesel. A bit under powered. The newer 2.2 have better performance and better fuel economy. The rear seats are more comfortable than the front, but tye front are not bad. Ride quality off road is not to bad. Vehicle wheight is a bit of a drawback on soft sand and being 2.1 tons the licence fees are pretty eina every year. Last paid around R1100.00 in 2018. Some spares are a bit to expensive for my liking, others ridiculously cheap

10mm high tensile steel bolts. That is what fits in the original holes
