Yeah that's a tough one to just grid and go, so many spots that creep up on you 😨. I made a discord server over the weekend to maybe get a bit of a community together, do races share stuff. I'll try and post the rally I'm planning on doing around mid week under the events page, I have no idea what I'm doing in discord just trying to learn how to use it. I was going to mention it in this video to get people to join but forgot..old age 😂 I'll mention it in the next one...anyway there is a link in the discription of this video or my main channel discription to join, hopefully see you over there and anyone else who's interested that reads this ✌

@@dazminator Thanks Daz, yeah it was cool to see we had some really close times on a few of those stages :-). Oh and I did run the stages before entering the rally (lifexsaver, e.g. was my first run at Legend and I got soooon lost the first few times 🤣)

I run around 7nm or 30% in the VRS software.

😂Enjoy the challenge, I enjoy the tarmac as much as gravel as its just fun and challenging in its own way, besides if you wanna run the Big SRM events you wanna be tarmac confident. Just checked your results pretty impressive for going in cold p12 with no SR congrats 👍, had you run the stages before hand you probable would have taken me out. 😨

@dazminator You have no idea how close I was to SR 🤣. Stage 1 an 2, which i did yesterday, a spin each as mentioned. Today I had me act together a bit on 3 and 4, then of course got confident.... and you know how that usually ends, right? So in stage 5 I almost wrecked my car, but discovered a helpfull glitch in RBR: flew into the abbys somewhere, LOST my gearbox actuator, engine died, dreaded "your car is stuffed, kindly retire" message popped up, head hanging in shame. Now get this: this happend towards end of stage massive downhill part, I could roll and jump start my wreck, finish the stage stuck in 2nd gear. In the roadside service I could fix nothing, but magically for the last stage my transmission was back in order....riddle me that.

@@Renn831 Man you dodged a bullet and to finish 12th after that is incredible, I have wrecked once before at the top of a hill and was also able to jump start the car and limp to the finish but got lucky with a 60min repair at the end of the stage... good old RBR never a dull moment 💥

Welcome aboard Simmo ! keep at it and edit those pace notes to suit your driving style and keep you out of trouble, hopefully I'll see you in future rallies 👍

@ Thanks for your reply. I’ll definitely look into editing the pace notes as it’s important to know where the road goes. It might stop me crashing as much which would be handy 😂

Yeah the EVO is a really fun car to drive, Hopefully down the track I'll try and start streaming some of the longer rallies like SRM and others, But I'm just a little time poor atm. 👍

Yeah the A2 is a super fun car the body get damage quite easy but still the better car i feel, Congrats on your your P2 👍, I hear a few people having issues with freezes and crashes, its unfortunate but you still finished well. I was able to super rally the next day and get P6. Hopefully see you in more RBR rallies ✌

Go to "Main Options" Page in RBR, select plugins, select RBR Controls, then use the left and right arrows to scroll to the page where your shifter is mapped and setup, at the bottom of the page you should see toggle type, this is where you can map a hot key to change between shifters, Dont forget to go back to the top of the page and save it before exiting. As for Fov, I use Cam Internal "FOV - 1.3090" "Near - 0.1101" and then adjust the X,Y,Z to suit each car and then save, Just double right click on your mouse when your in the car to see these adjustments, thats if you didn't know this already. Oh and I'm on triple 32" montiors. Hope This helps and thanks for watching ✌

I have all of my graphics set to high and cubic env maps set to off in the RSF Launcher. The gear shift light behind me is a LED Sim Flag there are plenty of brands selling these if you google it and is set up using simhub, most will come with instuctions on how to set these up, the dash shift light is an old phone also using simhub to run it.
