Tree was felled due to a big cavity on the main stem just under the main union of the tree. We rigged the tree down and then processed it with our 3T digger, chipped the brash with the Forst TR8 into our 50 yard bin, then put the timber on top at the end

Here we were using a vast amount of kit to aid the works, we had a road closure for 5 days, with restricted hours, so efficiency was key.

Here we were removing a Big beech and a pine, kobelco 14T cutting what it could with the vosch grapplesaw, Valtra Tractor clearing the branches and timber & LV800 with a forestry winch aiding the felling of the pine.

Using a chainsaw requires good technique, and you did it very well!
Awesome video. When you use a steel carabiner on the rigging like that, what knot are you using? I only ask as they are some reasonable size pieces and I’ve done the same before but always got the knot cease up.

0:23 I've seen a couple of shots in your videos of the grapple saw cutting a log along the grain. Is that to split it so that it fits in the chipper?
