I have created a post about this problem. please follow this link th-cam.com/users/postUgkx3NFyJPr36ZJ85s3cj9NHYVRCsYMTKo_O?si=ziQlbS5JG5fkeP2x
@HobbyElectroLab thanks
I replaced one of these it seemed to work a few times.. Then when it ignited a propane water heater ,the gas it was very explosive . Flame would ignite and and the water heater flame would flash about 10 inches outside of the water tank unit.with a large whoosing sound as it ignited.for about 3 seconds for the gas to burn off. After a few more times to try and start it ,,It would not ignite and all i heard was a constant clicking sound of a solenoid... My question is how do the two ignitors and the induction probes lay out in the burner rail?
I have studied your detailed comment, and I finally made a separate post for this issue. please follow this link to solve the problem. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxpcoxT57wd0bUsAK2Se2dFdMlheme8d49?si=mNysHOJMDn_aEqfc
Nice video been having trouble designing a soft latching switch. I would like to know the minimum output current at the output say if i use a 3A battery pack will i get 3A at the output too?
The output current depends on the load, not just the battery pack. A 3A battery pack can supply up to 3A, but the actual current is determined by the load's demand. Ensure the load current stays below the MOSFET's maximum drain current (16A) for safe operation.
What is its minimum output current ? Incase I am to use a different load other than a relay?
There’s no minimum current limit-any load can work. However, for the maximum current, you need to check the MOSFET’s maximum drain current rating. The load’s current must always be less than the MOSFET’s maximum drain current to ensure safe operation.
@HobbyElectroLab thank you. That's good to know

This proposal must be a joke. It makes no sense to connect capacitors in series as long as the voltage rating of the capacitor is higher than your power supply. You reduce the usable capacity and increase the total resistance of the capacitor by doing this. Your total capacity will be (4700uF+4700uF)/5 = 1880uF and resistance 2.5 times the resitance of one capacitor. This is MUCH less effect than using only one capacitor. 😞 Putting all in parallel you will get 47000uF and current limiting resistance only 10% of the value of one capacitor.
Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right-since the supply voltage is only 24V, a parallel configuration would provide much higher capacitance and current, making it more effective for spot welding. I appreciate your insight and will try to make another video with a better design. Stay tuned!
In each setting, for example 13:2:5 M T M ,.....such digits effect what does it mean specially MTM please clear it to me & oblige
Thank you for your comment! 13:2:5: These numbers usually represent settings like cycle time, water level, or spin speed. For example, 13 might be the wash time (in minutes), 2 could be the water level, and 5 might refer to the spin speed. MTM (M T M): This stands for Motor Test Mode, which is used to test the washing machine's motor for proper functionality. For more details, check the user manual or consult a technician. Feel free to ask more questions!
@HobbyElectroLab Thanks for your quick response Sir 👍 👏 🙏
You are welcome.
I have a used but working PC power supply laying around. Can I use the 12V rail to power this? Can I use one rail or combine all the rails? What would be the "ideal" amperage for charging the capacitors used in this project? Thanks!
A PC power supply delivers only 12V, which will work fine. However, for better performance, it is recommended to use a 24V power supply at 2A.
@@HobbyElectroLab Thanks.

Magically can produce 11.2 watts from 5! There are already plenty of gravity turbines being fed from hi reservoirs that get filled by green energy powered pumps. They are barely efficient enough to be worth it and they are way more efficient than buckets
Thank you for your comment. I've created a document that delves deeper into this concept, addressing your points. Please checkout this google document drive.google.com/file/d/1Uh8b606-jDdmO2B4sNQ44T4S816Iyd6p/view?usp=drive_link
Consider your idea as the beginning of a study of what it would take to create a "power supply" that runs on gravity. As Nick clearly shows, this iteration of the concept fails because the pump is doing the work of lifting the water and the generator is producing power by the fall of the same water. Even if every part of the machine operated at 100% efficiency and used friction-less bearings, you would still only break even. So, you have to do "something else" to get the system to work. For instance, if you could harness centrifugal force to help you lift the water, or add velocity to the weight of the water as it turns the generator, you could start to make up for your losses. Its a thought experiment.... see where you can take it.
thanks for the insightful comment! You're absolutely right about the system's limitations. I've created a document that delves deeper into this concept, addressing your points. Please checkout this google document drive.google.com/file/d/1Uh8b606-jDdmO2B4sNQ44T4S816Iyd6p/view?usp=drive_link
its this work for inverter washing meshine?
No, this card does not support inverter motors.
Gravity-Powered Energy Generator referred on these case is valid only as concept, but calculations are not correct? Why? This is simple, a) water pump 1 litter per minute and the electric motor consume 5 watt. This is 432000 Joul consume during 24 hour or 120 Watt-hr electricity consume. b) Water pumped on 20 meter high has a volume 1440 litter (pumped during 24 hr). This water has a potential power 282528 Joule which may generate 78.48 Watt-hr energy if all energy is converted on electricity. c) so on this time we can see efficiency 282528/432000 (J/J)= 65.4%. d) Potential energy water has at the highest point when moving the generator will generate less than 78.48 Watt-hr electricity, may be 70% of these, so the electricity output may be estimated to 54.95 Watt-hr. Overall energy out versus energy in of this "gravity-power machine" respectively 54.95 and 120 and total efficiency estimated is around 45.78%. Now this knowledge are known everywhere and applied better on Energy Storage Hydropower or PSH, no need for bucked. The world need energy on demand and there are many undisclosed technologies which can do energy generation on demand using physics law. One is levitation-gravity energy generation using heavy blocks of any material which can be lifted on so called levitation towers (invention not disclosed) and on these tower if we will use 1440 kg weight on 20 meter the "levitator" will use less than 56500 Joule energy (less than 15.7 Watt-hr). on the gravity energy generator parallel with levitator tower the energy generated for this case is estimated 78.48 Watt-hr time efficiency 70% which is 54.95 Watt-hr. So the undisclosed levitation gravity generation machine or engine will have input 15.7 Watt-hr energy and output 54.95 Watt-hr energy with EOEI RATIO 3.5. This new undisclosed "machine" is one of the key technologies the world will solve energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies, and this technology can be adopted and used on any place on earth. Partners for collaboration are welcomed on further details.

Thank you for your detailed and insightful comment! I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into explaining these concepts. I will take the time to study your points thoroughly and may even create another video to explore the idea you’ve presented. Stay tuned, and thanks again for contributing to the discussion!
@@ManyHeavens42 you are not explaining and can not explain that I am wrong. I am sure you like many others do not and can not understand "levitation" that I am including even if you have completed university studies. Can I use a welding pen with a 2.7v 500f super capacitor? Of course I will connect it in series to make 2 super capacitors
Sure you can. but better to read this post about any upgrades. This post is about your interest. th-cam.com/channels/j6sPESaMxC6O4u7Xb0Gibw.htmlcommunity
@HobbyElectroLab thanks bro
If you have a voltage source for 2.7V put the capacitors in parallel. If you have a voltage source of 5V, you can put the 2 capacitors in series - as long as they differ not too much in capacity. Don't put more voltage - unless you want to post a video of exploding capacitors (or a fontain of electrolyte)
@@megahertz6777 Great point! Connecting two 2.7V supercapacitors in series for a 5V source works as long as the capacitors have similar capacitance to share the voltage evenly. Adding a voltage-balancing circuit or resistors can also help prevent uneven voltage distribution. And yes, exceeding the voltage rating is definitely not recommended-safety first!
