Awesome prompts, I'm working on an Aasimar Celestial Warlock that I can weave these into quite nicely. Some I had asked myself already, but others I had not. These will be a good addition to the background that I had been working on already. My Patron will be my Deva Grandmother, so the interaction between the mortal and divine should be interesting from that perspective alone. Now the pact itself will be part of the discussion as well I think, this campaign starts with a disaster befalling the place where the members of the party live, and we all meet up in the mad scramble to get to safety. The pact is formed when my character instinctively calls out to her grandmother as she's about to be harmed and her divine power sparks to life and saves her. As such the pact is less of a contract and more of a connection between a grandmother and her grandchild. I do not doubt that this will lead to some drama later. As for what divine entity all this comes from, the DM and I have decided on Lliira, the Goddess of Joy. Which ties into my appearance, but also my chosen background, as my character was an Acolyte at a temple to Lliira prior to the events kicking off the campaign.

Thank you for this it gave me an idea for an Aasimar draconic Sorcerer. Where I'll be playing as the divine punishment of Bahamut on an evil dragon. I'm the willful (and good) grandchild or great grandchild of an Ancient chromatic Dragon, maybe an acid type. I'm determined to do good and undo the evil my extended family has brought to the world for hundreds of years. My dragon family that I'm astranged from might be lawful evil and I'm chaotic good I just want to tear it all down as I'm also doing good.

Excellent stuff as always. My first character concept for Curse of Stradh was a reluctant asmiar divine soul sorcerer/celestial warlock whose patron and divine ancestor were both his head. Their relationship was going to be fractious, with the sorlock trying to avoid his manifest destiny. At lot of stuff with him chimed very nicely with your ideas.
