That is true - complexity in built, simplicity in use. I like that they are trying to play catch up with their version of pens and I like the different colors they have so far. Seems like they are very popular as well - sellers seems to be constantly out of stock on some of the colors they put out.

The blue version is a beauty. And they keep coming with new colors. I will most probably end up getting a new one soon as well.

Not with the copy that I have. But then again I used the ink inside of it pretty quick and never ended leaving on a shelf for more than 2 days.

In teorie, Majohn A1 a copiat Pilot so senzatia care o simti este Pilot original 😄. So Majohn au facut o copie foarte decenta, nici o plangere din punctul ala de vedere. In final, toate 3 sunt stilouri foarte bune. Pilot Capless este un pic mai decent insa din punct de vedere al fabricatiei insa. Imi plac toate. Mersi frumos pentru împărtășirea experienței care o ai! ❤.

Thank you! Honestly, is just a matter of practice and sticking to it. If you look at my first drawings when I started this channel (after an absence of 15 years or so of no drawing), compared with what I do today, the drawings are fairly bad I would say. Never to late to start again ;)!

Congrats on your find! If what you have found is a genuine MontBlanc 320 then this fountain pen is not using ink cartridges. This fountain pen is what they call a piston filler. You twist the end of the barrel and the piston inside should move up and down freely. You can use any safe fountain pen ink - like Waterman, MontBlanc, Parker, Iroshizuku, Diamine, etc. Just get bottles not ink cartridges.

I think its a genuine montblanc 320 cuz I checked the engravings like on the nib, it says 585, the ring between the body and the cap, it says"Montblanc" "320" "Germany", and it has that snow symbol of Montblanc's on the cap and on the bottom of the pen. I am so happy with my find XD

It looks gold like but is not gold or plated as far as I know.

That is an ink that I got from AliExpress, called "Banmi Waterproof Blue". For fast drying inks, have a look at JetPens' website - they have a pretty good list: www.jetpens.com/blog/The-Best-Fast-Drying-Fountain-Pen-Inks/pt/896

This ink was ordered from AliExpress and there is no brand name attached to it. I can give you a link to where I got it from (no affiliation) but it looks like they have changed their setup a little. If I wasn't on such a tight budget right now, you would have a new customer... although probably lucky for me because I don't know how I could choose between the colors. I have to admit tho, seeing the Sunset Forest's green and gold as sunlit leaves, which it really does embody, probably gives it the edge for me. Beautiful work. 😊

Since no one is really lining up to buy them I am more than sure I will have a few of them lying around for a few months. And if not, I will have more colors coming in the future. I've been a little lazy for the past 2 months and haven't done much. Felt a little burned up and I took a small break from making more pens. Should be back to it half way through January so new colors should come soon... ish 😅.

I never got their pump pens so I am not sure why you might have those issues. However, the ink should not bubble when you press the pump - it should just push more ink into the feed to allow you to flex the nib for longer period of times. My wild guess is you either not have enough ink in the pen OR there is some sort of an air leak - when you push the pump is also pumping air in. But is just that, I guess. Not 100% sure.

@ well, I thought it was that same reason, not enough ink so I filled it with more ink, but it did the same thing. It could be that it isn’t air tight.

With the ones that I have? Yes. I haven't gotten any new models and see if they have improved things.

Thank you! I noticed they have a new "foldable" converter - the piston folds when fully extended. Curious if that one holds more ink than the regular piston they have.

@@eugenborcan Oh, I have not seen that one yet. So I checked Kaweco's website, 0,47 ml is the capacity for both. I've seen comments elsewhere that the original mini might not fit one of their other pens and they designed this one to fit all their small pens. (Lilliput may be the one with an issue with the original mini converter.). Edit: their Standard International Converter holds 0,82 ml of ink.

@@RJayRoberts Thanks for having a look into it. Now it makes sense. Yes, their mini converter doesn't fit in the Lilliput as far as I remember - when I tried to fit it in mine.

Great little thing indeed and I agree, the ink capacity can be a little bit of a bummer. They did lost a lot of respect from a lot of people back then when they went after Moonman but thanks to that we got the titanium RS1 which is an even greater little fountain pen. Yep, they are pretty much in the same family of pocket fountain pens. Yes, most probably an ink cartridge would hold more ink but I do like these converters to be honest. Thank you!
