“PUSONG PLDT”
10 years ago, isang dekada na po ang nakakaraan, I had the incredible honor of co-writing PLDT’s 85th Anniversary & Service Excellence theme song “PUSONG PLDT”. Originally written by Mr. Deng Kibanoff, Sir Deng had already written a song and asked me if I can add inputs and reshape it into a Pinoy OPM classic mid-tempo ballad that not only serenades the hearts of our listeners, but also rallies a community to a common goal, deeply rooted in the values of hope, faith, trust, passion, hardwork, and love. With the help of my friend Jhune Osuna, we came up with the final version of the song.
10 years later, I believe that the song & its message still rings true, especially now. I lovingly dedicate this song to the hardworking, passionate, courageous, and fabulous ladies and gentlemen of the entire PLDT High Speed Hitters team: players, coaching staff, and management.
