Homemade Schezwan Sauce| Indian Schezwan Chutney
Schezwan Sauce is a popular Indian condiment which can be used in so many recipes. Making it at home requires little effort but it is really worth it. This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for months and can be used to spice up noodles, fried rice, gobi manchurian etc. I hope you enjoy making it and please leave me a comment if you have any questions.
Ingredients:
Dry red chilli - 50
Garlic flakes (big) - 40
Ginger - 1 inch
Onion (small) - 1
Oil - 9- 10 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 5 Tbsp
White distilled Vinegar - 5 tsp
Light soy sauce - 5 tsp
Sugar - 5 tsp
Salt - To taste

      @@BrienneOfTarth5 the jaggery I buy are available in most of the Indian stores in red buckets. They are easy to scoop and very good. Swad, Laxmi and many other brands are available

      Have not tried it using besan. So I'm not sure about it.. you can try making 7 cup barfi if you want to use besan.

      I use the jaggery which comes in red bucket. It is available in Indian stores. It's the soft variety and I like it. You can try any brand like Swad, Laxmi, Real etc. Hope you find it. Thank you ❤️

    Thank you 🙏 I have some dried dates. Made powder and tried to use it in tea. Taste is ok but had to put lot of powder to match with the sweetness of sugar.
