What is the length of audio segments that you listen to, when utilizing this method? Btw, thanks for the tip, this is an excellent idea!
Łapka w górę i oglądamy!
Hahahahhaha how have you been😹
What do u have to do with spain
Out of curiosity, what do you do in Spain?
I work in marketing procurement for a company here☺️
@CeciliaCao cool!
Vamos Com Todos ❤🎉
As it happens, this is one reason I practice with a variety of conversation partners. My Spanish is pretty good, and after a while tutors tend to enjoy the conversation & not break the flow to point out when something isn't quite natural because it sounds good enough. But I don't want "good enough" Spanish. I want to know when there are better, more natural, or just alternative interesting ways to express myself.
Yes true! By practicing with different people, you can always pick up new words and actually strengthen the memory of the super common phrases they everyone uses 😂 and the last point that you mentioned is also spot on! A lot of the times I also struggle with finding more interesting ways to express myself bc of the limitation of vocabulary
Imagine how hard it's for a local citizen to live (or should I say survive) with a median salary of 1500 euros per month, which is below minimum wage in many European countries.
Exactly! None of this makes any sense! The rent is the most ridiculous part and also if metro card goes back to normal price from next year, that’s quite some money to pay for each month as well
A few questions: 1. do you have to do the exams for the lower levels first or can you just take the C-1 if you feel like you're ready? 2. If you want to pass your DELE, do you have to speak Spain Spanish or can you have a Latin American accent? 3. Do you have to take your DELE in person in Spain? or are there other places you can you take it?
Hiiii! Nope, for Dele you can sign up for whichever level you want as long as you think you’re ready for that level. About the accent they don’t really specify and I think both are fine. Actually for C1 for example, in the listening part and the audio in writing as well, they specifically use some pieces with Latin American accent, so I believe they are looking for some variety as well! You can do DELE in any city in the world as long as they hold the exam☺️
You termed it “conscious learning” which is a great name. I’ve heard people call it “deliberate practice” and “active learning” as well. Definitely a fundamental principle to follow, not only for languages but for learning in general.
Thank you!!! I also really like this name haha! But now that you’ve mentioned the other two terms that people use, I think they also make a lot of sense. And totally agree with the fact that this is fundamental for learning anything, cuz as I was editing the video, I was also thinking well this actually goes true for any subject if you wanna learn it well
Thanks for the video! 😊 I think learning a language has something to do with how our brains work. What works for one person might not work for someone else. I'm trying everything I can to learn Spanish right now. 😅😊 ¡Es muy difícil! Keep making more videos.
That’s true. Each has their own way when it comes to learning a new language😌 Spanish for sure is not the easiest to learn but I’m sure you’ll get better and better with the right effort!!! Stick to it!
Hey!! Are local people in Spain friendly and Do you feel included in spanish society or feel lonely and left out?
Hiiii! I think most of the people that I cross path with are very nice and helpful and easy to get along with. But my closest friends here are all people from other countries because in a way we share similar experience and it’s easier to bond. On the other hand i think to feel included in the society also requires certain understanding of the language and culture, basically to learn how the Spanish society works so that we don’t accidentally do or say things that are not well accepted😂
Nice explanation, thank you hence the music seems kind of loud & interrupts the understanding
Yeah quite some people have mentioned the bg music issue🙂↕️I’m minimizing the use of bg music in these talk videos now😂
Madrid is a utter crap, Toledo is more or less ok, rent a car go to small towns and enjoy Spanish life, not crappy tourist traps. u don't even need to know the language, be respectful and just point at what u want, SIMPLE. Los que no son descuerdo por que siempre salís corriendo de Madrid a la sierra / Extremadura cada fin de semana????
In Spanish they tell us that this is because the neutral form has evolved to sound the same as the masculine. But no one is putting the effort in separating them again
Oh wow really? I never knew the “evolution”part! We were only taught that in this case masculine form will be adopted
@@CeciliaCao It's what they told me as a child, it may not have actual etymological base.
Beautiful!
Yessss! It’s a lovely spot for weekend getaways!
Pretty Chinese girl
salaries in U.S. also increased to match with the inflation rate.
Hahaha this barely happens in Spain tho🙂↕️
Thanks for such a thorough explanation!
I’m glad it helps!☺️
That is not always true. Some “pisos interiores face wide “patios interiores” and they have quite a lot of sunlight. Some people prefer them because they are more quite. That said I personally prefer “exteriores”
Yeah I get what you’re saying. A friend of mine lives in piso interior, technically, but he’s got great access to sunlight because the other parts of the building are lower😂 but I feel like it’s a lucky case and the majority of pisos interiores are kinda dark and don’t have much view🥲
I have seen those in china years ago, specially in little shops, haven’t you?
Well… maybe it depends on region? I haven’t seen anything like this in China haha
People take their holidays in August mostly if they are families with kids, but some companies close 15 to30 days too in August because they have less activity. About the holidays itself, in the end people have to work a fixed number of hours in a year which regulated by law or collective agreements. Actually if you look for it, you’ll see that we work more hours per year than Germany o France and more or less the same as UK. I personally don’t like those fixed holidays (with maybe the exception of Christmas) because hat makes me take those days I like or not, and obviously ding things is going to be more expensive
Totally!!! This happens in a lot of companies that you will have to choose one week in which month and you can’t exceed how many days for summer or Christmas. It’s kinda annoying. And it is true that Spain doesn’t have as many holidays as countries like France🥺 plus sick leave and personal leave is also very limited compared to US
I can't find Las Claves Del Nuevo in the U.S.
Oh no… not even on Amazon?😳
@ nope :/
Fun video, thanks for the upload! As a Spaniard living abroad (Asia) and having lived in several countries throughout my life, no country seems to take criticism well from a foreigner (even light “negative” observations) even having lived here longer than in Spain.
Hahaha that’s totally true! In China it’s also the same. But I gotta say when I lived in the US, if someone starts to criticize US, the Americans are singing along😂 But for sure this depends on individuals🙂↕️
@ yeah 100%. For me in the US it really depended on what state lol some have better self deprecating humor than others. Keep up the good work, you’re doing great! And talk honestly as much as you’d like in Tik-Tok or wherever you want, at the end of the day your opinion is yours and you have the right to express it!
Totally! Thank you for the kind words and the encouragement! I'll keep expressing myself😌😌😌

hi
Yo le vi esa mañana; quiero ver más ahora!! ❤
Algún día vamos a hablar en español… 😊 Sí se puede…
I really like watching your journey of learning Spanish. I started learning Spanish last year, and the progress has been slow. I still can't speak properly. Most of the time, I have to write down what I need to tell people before the conversation. This is not what I wanna happen. I am going to try your method from now on. ¡Espero que yo puedo hablar espanol mejor el promxia año!
Thank you! I totally understand having to write down what to say or having to draft in your mind first before saying it out loud😂 I think it’s a process, little by little, we will internalize the language we are learning and get better at it😌 Keep going and you’ll be fluent before you notice it🥰
can you just put the book straight so we can take pic 😅
@01:04 The books are upside down...
Very inspiring, and thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you for the comment!
Nice
Hello
It exists in many other countries, as well - for example Vietnam, Taiwan and Korea have many of those. Latin American countries, as well, but maybe that's the Spanish heritage. In Europe, I think it's a Spanish speciality 😂
Hmmm I’ve never heard of my Taiwanese friends and Korean friends mentioning this kind of “interior” design tho😟 but I do wonder if maybe in Italy or Portugal or France there is similar design🤨
Buena sugerencia gracias
Hi! I saw your couple of videos about your DELE experiece. You have great advice and many subscribers have some questions (I saw them in the comments). I was wondering if you would like to make a video together to answer all the questions that a person who is gonna do the exam might have and chat about what, as an examiner of DELE, might be useful or not. Let me know 😉
There are literal holes in your hose. That’s why it doesn’t work
It's just a dual vent portable AC. Still less efficient than a window AC because it generates heat inside (though it is more efficient than a single vent portable AC). Better than window AC is a mini duct
Exactly its way less efficient than window AC and it makes a lot of noises😂 butttt for the moment it’s already making a HUGE difference😂😂😂😂
@@CeciliaCao no, a window ac is more efficient. The window ac you had may have just been too small for the space. But all things same, window ac unit will be more efficient than portable ac because it exhausts outside (portable ac is still inside your house and cannot exhaust outside fully)
Thats what she just said. She said this kind is way less efficient than a window.
I am moving to Madrid on October can you help me out find accommodation?
You can take a look at idealista🤗 there are plenty of option there!
Great video. Except rent, costs are somewhat similar to Dublin 🇮🇪
While salary in Ireland is much higher than in Spain🥲 the rent here really doesn’t make much sense😕
My god are you kidding, just tell me it’s a joke.
@@CeciliaCao go back to china where you belong
I need some movies and series recommendations 💘
