Yeah that did look pretty sketchy ngl. Plus some areas in remote wilderness will be simply inaccessible just with the height. Pretty cool truck but I agree with James.

I get that it has to have slightly softer suspension for suspension travel, but the top heavy nature of it, litterly had it wobble the whole time I was allowing it I know from driving my semi, having to constantly correct for the wobble, IS AWFUL!

I’ve owned 2 of them both the 1 tons. One had 4.8 and other had 6.0. Both were good vehicles

I didn't even diss them... so I don't know what your on about... I literally only said that their more expensive.... I also did look up why they point out that they think their better than the competition. And it comes down to "made in the usa" that's about it. They claim "more accurate weight rating" at over 50k lbs that 1klbs difference wo t matter, They claim "double over weave" this one also is double over weave They claim "more accurate dimensions" this ropes claims 1 ¹/4 but it measures out to more like 1 ³/8 which is thicker so 🤷‍♂️ idk why that matters... And at the end of the day with all that in mind this rope is ¹/3 the price....

Read some of the other comments, some guys are saying he wouldn't, and even justify why he wouldn't. Imo I don't think he knew, he was wearing double headphones, looked to be a new driver (inexperienced with various equipment conditions) and when I signaled to him that his tire was blown he made a shocked face, and slowed down to pull over.

I absolutely agree! This is actually a 3rd party. Amazon tried their own operations. They even ran CDL training for their own employees, but as soon as they got them on the road, they all kept crashing. The cost of insurance ended up being greater than the cost of subcontracting out. Who are the subcontractors? THESE GUYS

You obviously have no experience or knowledge of equipment behavior, you can feel that there's a problem, if you have even half of a idea of what you're doing.. Period.

Your comment is DOT's wet dream. That truck is his ship. He must under all circumstances moniter absolutely every aspect of it. DOT "might" give you a pass on a light bulb. A commercial tire below 50% of its stated required PSI upon inspection requires replacement. If a replacement is required, the vehicle is put in "out of service "status until said replacement is made. Now. Blowouts and flats happen. And if they happen, they are (on a commercial tire) happening at a pressure of at least 100psi. Even in this instance, the blowout was so severe (common) that it bent outward a 1/8in metal braket that holds the muflap. If you don't care, you won't notice. But if you do care, you would think a bomb went off. If he knew it was blown but is driving, you slow down to 55 (he didnt) and you put on your emergency flashers (he didn't) and drive to wherever is safe so service can be perform, dot will literally not bother you.

I agree. I would too, he just needs some advice, if he put on his flashers it would cover him from dot, like this he's vulnerable to a ticket and an "out of service" also, he had just passed a rest area and 2 truck stops with services so 🤷‍♂️..
