    Wow. Everything described was NOT (!) shown on the camera. And the student couldn't do what the teacher taught. Conclusion: Camera person shaking the camera is in love with the instructor. The teacher cannot teach and-or the student cannot learn, or the teachings are suspect, or all of the above. Why bother uploading a video that is about as clear as mud..? Stop shaking the camera, talk in a louder voice, get rid of distractions in the background, unnecessary gear like.... what the h*ck are those glasses doing..?!? It pays to practice beforehand. It's called a 'rehearsal.' But, honestly, of the many videos I've seen, this has got to rank near zero. What information is being conveyed, communicated, understood? Answer: Nothing noticeable. Nothing important. Nothing replicable... F+ (The plus is for the courage to upload this, risking embarrassment...the F is for the quality).

    Thank you. This is powerfully therapeutic work. Occasionally I visualize breathing through the pores of my skin to accentuate the whole body feeling and it’s amazing how the tissues are recruited to move in unison. I have had a total shoulder replacement on the right side and it is still possible to gently stretch the joint capsule while protecting against over extension and disconnect from the total body movement. The milking action on the facial web and joints makes my body feel like a large concertina. It sounds absurd until one tries it heh heh.

    Is it safe to say that you found out the split wire loom you used is not water tight even when "gooped up?" Not sure exactly what you did but it doesn't sound watertight or waterproof. Also, try a PWM for the speed control, they work great but make sure the amp rating is correct so you don't burn out the board.

    For the price of a half a 2x6 you could just mount the trolling motor on the front and total cost with out the wood is under $10.00. Then you can steer without all the pulleys or to have to duck your head. Motor in the front,battery in the back evens out nicely on this boat. Why you make this so difficult is beyond me. A factoid for you,on a minn kota the draw on the battery is the same on level 1 as level 5. You have to spend the big bucks for alternating current motors.

    • @jedibill111

      Other than drag, I would say no. The air in the tires would give you a bit more buoyancy I would think. And I would imagine that the tires would act somewhat like a keel and keep you from getting blown around by the wind as much. Just a guess as I don't get my XT until next week. Can't wait!

    Hi David, Is there anything that could help me understand how to get into the connective tissue? I've been following Howard Wang's and Mark Rasmus's work for about a year, and I have some training in Systema (M. Ryabko's school). I wish I could get a better grasp on how you know you're connected to your partner's fascia. Thanks a lot!

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Charles, Thanks for reaching out. Are you familiar with Tai Chi rollback, or repulse the monkies? Have a partner grab your wrist. Put your mind on your partners feet. If you step backward they should move with you without you having to pull at all. That's how you know you are correct. Also push forward, with no effort you should get an effect from your partner. Im in VA are you close?

    • @davidcohen2991
      @davidcohen2991 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Simple exercise. Find a partner and have them place their arms as if they are holding a ball, or balloon, Place your hands gently on your partners forearms. Push gently and get their shoulders to move first, then the body. Repeat the exercise[ do not change hand position]. This time when you push ty to move your partners hips first. Repeat and shoot for the feet first. When you get good at that, practice on cantact then add techniques. BTW. I learned that from Mark.

    • @GetInShapeWithDavid
      @GetInShapeWithDavid 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry this took so long. Make your Tai Chi Ball. Once you feel the energy in your hands gently extend your fingers, open your palms. This will change the vibration between your hands. Repeat the exercise open the elbows, palms and fingers again feel the difference in the vibrational quality repeat again. On the third round extend the shoulders slightly. Then you can work on ankles and knees. I hope this helps. BTW it will also fine tune your chi and sensitivity.
