💯
this is just wonderful, fantastic job
Do you have the midi for this
nah sorry. Lost it years ago
class
man you've gotta explain how you made this, specially that lead/bass line. it's such an incredibly complex sounding line, i can already see that there is some synth layering going on. this is crazy, incredible work dude
yeah it was a pain to get it right. if you have ableton i can send you the file and you can see what each individual track is doing
@@GormlessHorseyeah that would be awesome! thank you so much 🙏🏻
@@juanignaciosalerno6722 Add me on discord: gormlesshorse
done! god bless you man, your remakes are mindblowing
thank you
I always get anxious that aphex lost the files and the exact music and parameter locks will be forever lost. Good to know someone took the time to figure out the whole thing.
Damm !! Goodness !!
oh my god. you work ethic must be that of a god
wow.
You are phenomenal.
Absolutely amazing remake👍👍 I wonder how you make a bass Like that
Buddy this is great definitely deserves way more views
Sick
Simply amazing!
Holy shit! This is amazing!!! So much details. I'm trying to make a guitar + bass version of this song. Could you please send me the Ableton Project, bro? It would help me a ton!
thanks it took me a while. idk how i'd send you it. Add me on discord and i can send you the file i think. Gormless Horse#2092
@@GormlessHorse Just added you. Thank you, man!
nice one mate
This is absolutely amazing. I really like long season but i'm not really into the vocals as much, so this is perfect for me :) You did an amazing job!
cringe
vocals are GOD level but i respect your opinion
@@bistekete i changed my mind and i am so sorry!!
NICE!!! very very nice
wowww
Incredible
ZAMN
fucking amazing bro
you'd be doing such an enormous and big favor to the world if you could share the midis but if you can't that's understandable. this is amazing my man, extremely good job, I don't think any cover is ever going to beat this
i wouldve loved to but i lost the file about a month ago when i reinstalled windows. sorry. Maybe one day ill do it again but with better production, it would be 10x quicker because i already know all the parts, but it will be a while down the road.
if there are any parts of the song you would like to know just ask, i think i remember it all
@@GormlessHorse oh my god that's terrible :(, really glad you at least got to record all of it before it was lost, there's no problem though, I can wait, if anything I was just wondering about shinji's voice melody and that was practically it
There is a midi out there on the internet somewhere already...I'll see if I can find it or if I have a copy on an old drive somewhere
@@smcmanus13 did you end up finding it?!?!
aint no way, this is so good
incredible!
damn this is amazing! great job
Very cool
this is great tbh
This is epic. How long did this take to make and how did you go about it?
I just wanted to learn the solo in the live version, and I’m new to Ableton, good practice to make a backing track, and I kept going after it because it was fun. From start to finish it was about 3 months on and off, but most of the time was just listening back over it. To actually make it I listened to the studio version and live version a lot and just recorded what I heard.
@@GormlessHorse you did a very Good job recreating it. I have found most of the motifs are simple to play, but trying to pick all different layers out during the more busy parts sounds hard.
good shit
