All kinds of outdoor fun from fishing, hunting, hiking, firewood processing, etc. Mostly in West Virginia but may travel.
You never know what I'll post....I sure don't.
I DO NOT CLICK BAIT!!! Titles need to peak your interest but my titles will have something to do with the content. I hate click baiting. If you think one of my titles is click bait...let me know, please!

Moving Firewood Logs for Easier Cutting
มุมมอง 70หลายเดือนก่อน
Decided to use the Massey 1749 with the Grapple Bucket attachment to move some logs around. Saves a lot of work and seems to be faster. #firewood #masseyferguson #grapplebucket
Pro-Nuc bee Installation
มุมมอง 21หลายเดือนก่อน
I bought a Nuc of Bees. This video will try and explain the difference between a package and a nuc of bees and the installation. This is my first nuc and so far, I like it so much more. #honeybees #pronuc
Preparing Food Plot with Lime and Fertilizer
มุมมอง 41หลายเดือนก่อน
I added 400lbs of lime and 120lbs of triple 10 fertilizer to my small food plot. Hoping this will give it the boost to produce. Used the Massey 1749 and spreader to get a nice distribution.

Day of Log Pulling with the Hudson 45M
Well done but please let her know for next time that she must use the following: Denim thick jeans to protect legs . Leather boots to protect her feet . Protective eyewear always on . Been there , done that , I almost lost my face once or twice . Safety comes first
Great job, looks amazing... you should build 5 more
You can help
How many hp tractor?
50
Thank you. How fast are you able to get the 6.5’ disc up to with that setup? Appreciate it.
I think I ran in high 2nd gear. Not sure on the speed.
Honeysuckle?
There is some in there but mostly privet bush
They sure are pretty.
Can you burn standing dead trees? Well ask the folks in California fire country. they will tell you they burn like crazy.
Thanks for the tour. Looks good.
The bees are doing their work ! I wish they would send a delegation my way 🙂. I see no bees in my garden and nothing is getting pollinated ☹️.
These are probably my 🐝
What are they feeding on?
Thanks for sharing!
My grandpa had a Farmall and I love these! Thanks for sharing. Get that water leak fixed! :)
For dramatic effect. They are just showing off to the other trees 😃.
That is a beautiful tractor. What a voice !!
That looked like a sweat producing job. When you had the video speeded up, it looked pretty easy, almost enjoyable. At regular speed, it didn’t appear to be your favorite job 😃. Thanks for the video.
It is the job that ruins my back. It was 90 degrees on these days so not the best time to do it either.
So, how long did it actually take? The overheating created a unique effect!
I think it was 3 days. The 1st I was off work. The other days I worked after I got off work. I'm off today and just splitting more.
I think you need 4 more brother better to be safe then sorry
I like the way you think
I would guess that If you put them in a rotation for seasoning - probably 3 or 4 is just about right?
Yup, that's what I'm doing. Big one holds about a season and a half worth
Well, the operative question is where do you live. If you're upstate Pennsylvania or North Dakota or Utah or or or go for it. If it's central Texas, not so much.
I've also got a 4x4x150 feet of stacked wood under tarps to sell
They look just like mine. 😂
Looks good. a long time ago i put out minerals called lucky buck the deer dug a hole four feet by four feet two feet deep to get that mineral. now i just put out the blocks from the feed store and the deer hit it hard. i dont know if they still sale lucky buck anymore but it worked good.
I'll keep an eye out for it
Nice, I got 2 plots planted today. Did sun hemp, radishes, and buckwheat in one and brown top millet in the other
So beautiful!
Sweet!!
Looks good!
Now that’s a tractor !
Good luck on it, getting the timing right on it is very difficult.
You should plant a field of Crimson clover in one of your plots some time. Your bees will love it and the honey has a sort of "fruity" taste to it.
Crimson clover is actually planted by some farmers to put nitrogen back into the soil.
I have a 2acre field landing. When it goes dead I will try crimson
I been using merit seeds for a few years and have had good success, I really like there crimson clover. Hope you keep us updated as the plot grows
I sure will.
Short but informative
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the tractor video. I think you have worked out an efficient system for processing your wood. A very enjoyable watch !
Glad you liked it.
love, Love, LOVE your bee videos. You said that the Nuc package is more expensive... is it 50% more, 100% more? Is the ramp thing new?
Packages run around $150. This Pro-Nuc was $220. More time is involved and I get to keep the container. I took the container and made a swarm trap. I will make a short video on that as well
Interesting video. Thanks !
I use winter wheat and plant it mid to late September and if you have a low shady spot plant clover. try to plant before a full moon it will help to more water closer to the top of the soil if there is any.
Thanks for the video 🚜
Is there a way to figure out what happened to the queen?
Not really, she may be in there but not laying well. I've been checking.
"By the seat of my pants...", HA! I'm surprised you're not out there with your handy dandy extended chain saw taking care of those overhead branches.
Soon, soooooon
Thanks for always explaining the "why" of what you do! How long does it take you to do this?
Thanks for the video. Documenting your bee journey makes for an interesting subject.
Thanks for another interesting tractor video !
Spring is busy tractor time
Its hard to get anything to grow on the top of a hill, good luck.
Appreciate it!
Ya…hoooo! The perfect way to start a day. A cup of coffee and a tractor video. It will be interesting to see if the clover wins the battle. Thanks!
Congratulations on hitting 500 subscribers!
I didn't know I did lol
Creepin tip of the day : dont steal anybody else's sign acquire some if you can !
Acquire is a good word
This is really interesting. Are you gonna get one of those cool bee keeper suits!?
I already have one and it is already dirty lol. I started last year but my Bees didn't make it. This is my 2nd attempt
when you start getting some of that good fresh honey let me know haha!!
“The Bee Talker” Ha ha ! My dogs are outside with me while i’m working and i have running conversations with them. I ask for their ideas and suggestions on how to do whatever i’m working on. They just look at me like i’m a crazy old man. They are right 😂
True story here as well
😢 you better get an insurance reduce to❤
If you meant entrance reducer, no worries, I got one. Thanks for the reminder though.
1970s colors. Hippie Bees !
I'm so excited to see your bee journey!
It looks like it just will not give you a break.
It hasn't really rained in over a week now. You will like the tractor videos :)
