This takes me back. Great live band - saw them as a teen on the Misplaced Childhood and Clutching At Straws tours, as well as Fish's first two solo tours. Always thought the stuff from the first two albums sounded better live. I'm so glad these performances have been saved and posted - kudos. Cheers!

I never got to see them with fish, I saw them twice during the early Hogarth years. The concerts were both very good, but it still hurts that i didn't see the man.

Fabulous front man. There are many talented singers but the only other one that I can think of with as much charisma, talent and sheer possession of the audience is Roy Khan from Kamelot. Fish is really top class.

Absolutely superb this performance. These days were most probably the highest point of their career! The attitude, the energy of all, the perfection of the interpretation of the songs, the voice, the set list, the crowd in ecstasy, ohh great days!! One of the greatest bands in the world definitely.

Great band, but my god, Fish was such an incel. The intro to Incubus was deeply disturbing.

Thank you so much for this video! I grew up in the 80's, not knowing were to belong to, and with no future. No work to be found, and to be honest, no future. Marillion kept me from letting go, and Fish told me so much, using only a few words, but in fact telling whole chapters to me. I still have all my records I bought those day's and years ago, I cherish them dearly. I replaced them with cd's, so they will be kept as original as they are. Thank you a lot for sharing this concert with us!

It`s simple, Marillion with Fish 10/10, Marillion with Hogarth 6/10 and this is not only because of Hogarth.

Fish's voice was so off at this concert. End of a tour I guess...

Saw Marillion headline at Milton Keynes bowl in 86 do the Misplaced Childhood in its entirety. Brilliant!

A mate at School had the First two Albums. I disparagingly thought they were just ripping off early Genesis ~ 'till I saw them Play that is, in Glasgow, at the Barrowlands Ballroom late December '84. They were, I discovered to my utter surprise, a Punchy and Powerful Live outfit, playing to a respectfully Delirious Crowd.One should bear in mind that Genesis, and Yes, to name just two of the biggest culprits,were entering their dullest and and most populist phases at this time. I'm so glad I caught that Tour~ Fish was still wearing the Psychedelic Face paint and they were a Cult Attraction. They were about to take the Charts by Storm. Who knew?
