what is the level of security of data used for context tags?
This is amazing. Thank you Nathan and team!
Huge updates! 🚀
Could you share a written example of an actual Context Tag?
This is great, can’t wait to try it. I’ve found it hard to keep the context consistent when using ChatGPT for my novel writing. My account’s memory allocation keeps filling up. So this sounds like a game changer. If it works like I think it does, I can give Lex extensive context of the world and characters relevant to what I’m writing and get even better quality responses ❤
This is beyond awsome! I've used Claude projects and Notebook, but this seems like a step ahead. One question: Do the context tags live at the level of the document, the user or both? Being greedy, I'd love it if it was both. But in any case-great stuff! Thanks!
Context tags are at the user level but you can also share them with other users or teams! When you have access to a context tag, you can add them to chats in any doc.
Hi Nathan! Love the rate at which you ship features. Couple questions: - How is adding something through as a Context different than attaching Files, URL, Docs - When i go to context tags, I do not see anything I can can select( No context Tags), Tips? Thanks!
Context tags basically allow you to add a bunch of stuff to a chat with one click. So instead of adding a lot of separate docs or files separately you can include them as a group. And I am just now deploying an update that lets you create a context tag from there when you don't have any yet! In the meantime you can create one in the Prompt Builder.
@@lex-inc Ahh! That makes sense. Thank you!
I'm developing different programs for my clients all the time, so this would be amazing! A context tag for a masterclass type of project, with all the scripts, program details, process steps, and template messages? Awesome. A "program/course" project with all the lesson plans, brainstorm ideas, after-class results, survey and satisfaction results, etc. etc.
You get it!! Would love to hear how it goes
This sounds great - super useful. In the email about it it says you can use them with any LLM. How does that work? How do you get these to work with ChatGPT 4o or some other LLM? Or is it that you can access 4o inside of Lex?
You can access 4o inside of Lex! In the chat window, just below the text input to type a message, there's a way to pick the LLM model you want to use.
Wow, thank for this. Can't wait to try it <3
this is freaking awesome 🔥
ahh thank you!!
The contextual menu for the AI has been long awaited. Thank you!
This actually so good although is it not possible to instead of just copy and paste it you can just have apply the change button to the one that the ai suggested
I noticed some of these changes the other night as I am 20,000 words into a single document and I was able to ask it about things that changed, and got the copy text in chat as well. I was just working intuitively and noticed it reacting differently, it was great to get some context here!
glad to hear it's working well!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing Nathan. This morning I was writing something on Lex (Pro), and it successfully filled in the information (from 1950s and 60s). I'm curious how it may have gotten that information? Everything was on point of course. But will be nice to know where is the model getting information from.
If you're using Lex Pro, the default LLM is Claude 3.5 Sonnet!
Great update
Great Stuff! Thanks!
Good stuff Nathan!
I couldn't be more excited to see all the new changes to this tool! By far the best AI I've encountered!!
ahhhh thank you!!! any chance we can use this quote on our homepage? 😅
@@lex-inc Absolutely!
@@teamactivemedia ahhh thank you so much!
You did it! Context. 🎉❤
My feedback is, who's maintaining that garden and how is it this green this time of the year?
@@maybegreat hahaha my mother in law! it’s green year round in LA 😅
Great stuff! Thank you.
Love the shipping speed and usefulness of your writing tools. 🚢
@@ChrisHarveyEsq thanks!!
Epic! p.s love the garage - the den of the founder of Lex!
haha thank you!!
Absolutely my favorite AI tool!!
Thanks for all the hard work. I noticed the updates today, especially regarding edits. Now, I have to catch up on all the other features.
too fast
sorry about that!! will slow it down a bit next time
Great updates!
Thanks!!
The thing about ‘seeing’ my edits is great, that’s been a source of a fair bit of back and forth for me with Lex. Also love the context add - that will be great for adding style guides to my chats with Lex.
Thanks!!
This is one of the best ideas I've come across over the past few months. I look forward to this integration on Lex
Is it going to be like the epic fail called prompts for midjourney and other ai models through Claude and ChatGPT? You know when the prompt sounds so promising and so much better, but the output of the app is the same (a very rare best case scenario) or much much much (did I say much?) worse that your original, truly basic prompt that AI seemed to understand better than the elaborate v2 created by a peer LLM? Just sayin'. Keep up the good work guys!
We will see!
Great idea! It's great that you mentioned that personal creativity is at the heart of using AI, because my initial response was "people aren't going to want to share their edge". But yeah, AI without personal creativity behind it is useless.
Thanks so much for this. I was waiting for this since a long time. I have been using lex early since it was launched every day till today❤❤
Great initiative, Nathan. Lex, creating the Prompt Economy!
Very cool! bookmarking this for later
