How can we practice synodality personally

Good morning confessions through zoom is not allowed but if it is emergency that person can confess direct to God because of that Good intension, di po ba Bishop?

I hope the synod puts emphasis on the mission of the Church - to save souls, spread the Gospel, especially the NEW Testament, and baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Sana magkaroon ng channel o show si Bishop Ambo kung saan ang topic ay church history at biblical context ng nga doctrines ng simbahan. Mukhang malalim si Bishop in that subject matter.

Nowhere in the godpel where Jesus did a showbiz as this program hosted by the forthcoming pope

This program makes the holiness of the forthcoming pope goes down to the level of showbiz personalities

I wonder what the Cardinals and Bishops think of the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening ceremony. Did I miss their condemnation of the blasphemous parody of the Last Supper and celebration of the execution of Queen Marie Antoinette?

Aug 15, 2024, Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa died on the Feast Day of Assumption of Our Blessed Mother. The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God that the thought of the loss of so many souls is a cause of sadness. If the sins increase in gravity there will no longer be pardon for them. With courage, speak to your Superior. He will know how to encourage each one of you to pray and to accomplish the works of reparation." Sister Agnes Sasagawa received the stigmata on her left hand. Why the left hand? This happened after the indult that allowed communion to be received on the hand instead of the tongue. When we receive communion in the hand, we usually receive it on the left hand. Many have lost belief and respect for the Holy Eucharist. "Churches will be sacked." Many Churches replaced the "altars" with tables. Altar rails were removed. People receive the Body of Our Lord standing up instead of kneeling down with reverence. The Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ has been downplayed. The tortured Body of Our Lord on the Cross has been replaced with His Risen Image. We need to be reminded that He suffered for our sins, of how much He suffered. The statue of Our Lady of Akita wept human tears. When we receive communion, let us pray, "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, TRULY present in Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on all the altars of the world and giving praise to the Father pleading for the coming of His Kingdom." "Please receive this humble offering of myself. Use me as You will for the glory of the Father and the salvation of souls." "Most holy Mother of God, never let me be separated from Your Divine Son. Please defend and protect me as Your Special Child. Amen."

There was a discussion in a Catholic channel about a situation when a dying person cannot have access to a priest to make a confession. In this circumstance, that person may confess to a lay person but that lay person may not give absolution and is sworn to secrecy. (There is no such thing as an un-hackable digital device.) Confession through a digital device would be risky.

In the old days, when there were plagues, priests and nuns tended to the sick and dying (like Saint Roque, Saint John Bosco, etc.) Some eventually caught the disease themselves and died, earning their sainthood. Priests these days probably don't want to be called neurotic if they went out of their way to tend to a contagious dying person. Some, like Saint John Bosco and his students never got sick when they tended to the contagious sick people.

If a same-sex couple wanted to ask for God's blessing, do they have to do it as a couple? Isn't that like a slap in the face of God? It's like, "We know we are disobeying You, but we want it this way, can You accept us as we are?" Why can't they go separately? It would be a step in the right direction, wouldn't it? Asking for blessings as a a couple only shows defiance, doesn't it? It's really bad optics, isn't it? It's normalising the sin that cries out to heaven for justice. Or are you trying to tell us it is not a sin? Like PF said to a gender-confused guy, "You were born that way" (or something to that effect). What is he implying? Does God make them that way? Is God contradicting Himself?

"6 I wonder that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel. 7 Which is not another, only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema 9 As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." [Galatians 1:6-10]

Bishop Mylo , the Church was founded by Jesus 2,00 years ago, and it is still IN THE PROCESS of building itself. I guess, Jesus has the answer to your question for I am sure Jesus is also patiently waiting for the results of this 2,000 year old process.

I agree witjh Bishop Ambo about using the digital space as an effective medium in the offering of the sacraments. However, there is an equal importance in properly educating the faithful for it can be subjected to abuse because of the convenience this technology is offering. I might sound very traditional, but what I am really concerned about is the attitude that might develop in the faithful- an attitude that desires convenience, a concern that I can see in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

May experience din po kami sa macabebe nang gannoon si fr joe David maytoon pong humingi ng communion sa kany tapos fr Joe ask her if she wants to confess sabi nong matanda its ok hindi nya kailangan so binigyan sya ng communion after one week tinawagan sya ng anac ng maysakit gusto 58:26 daw mag confess sabi ni fr joe becouse of the grace that jesus gives

It is in this point na, mayron ng blessings ng samesex marriage, prang mayron pang insinuations of abortions na positive-negative approval ng head of the Church! On the part of the Pope, may pagka heretic sya, tas thru this synod thing, he wants mkipag unite ang mga obispo, para may excuse sya sa mga heresies nya, hopefully our bishops will have their own loyalty to OUR LORD JESUS!

Speaking of the relationship betwn the pope and bishops, to strenghten and preservation of the doctrine, but what about all the heresies, trying to reverse the original teachings of the church, from the time of JESUS CHRIST and His Deciples, parang nkkalito, if only we dont have the strenght to cling to our catholic faith, built by Jesus Himself!

Jesus loves us all even we are all sinners but He said too to woman adulterer sin no more. It doesn’t mean that He loves us all though we are all sinners not to change our life if we are living in mortal sins like same sex marriage that is a mortal sins nothing can separate for the love of Jesus to us but we can separate our love to Jesus by our un repented mortal sins.

Everyone is indeed welcome in the Church but on God's terms, not our own.

I was touched by the sharing of Bishop aDavid about his refusal to accommodate the wish of a dying man for a virtual rite. I had a chance to minister to a dying woman because I was the household head of her daughter-in Couples for Christ and was ask to do a pray over. When she died, I was told that she had not forgiven one of her brothers whom she had a dispute. I failed to lead her to forgiveness because I did all the talking but neglect the asking and listening.

I agree with bishop Vergara on other areas: public officials and LGBT. We really need to reach out to these groups.
