The Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail is a popular off-road trail located in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. The starting point of the trail varies depending on the specific route chosen, as there are several different sections of the trail that can be completed.

Where did you guys drive exactly on this route looks nice
We almost died here!!!😂 Google maps suggested it as a route from Mafefe to Phalaborwa and there we went in a sedan! Before we knew it we were stuck between rocks and a river! Luckily it was just closer to that small wide spot on the left and there we made a 3 point turn😌. I would like to go back with an appropriate off the road vehicle to explore the pass and the beautiful Lekgalameetse.
Boring
Amazing! Myself and my wife did this pass in 1984 in a 1600 Mazda 626. It was good tar a lot of the way, then a nice flat dirt road to the pass. The road was do-able back then because the farmers needed it. The selati flood must have ripped up a whole stretch of road

Klein Pella is my happy place, stay there often when I travel for work to the mines in the area. They have some nice 4x4 trails as well.
Did this 1 Jan 2023 with Jimny’s. Was amazing. Very, very overgrown. Had to chop our way through. Scratches galore on cars. Too nice this trip.
How's the issue with the cracking dash?

I went doen the mountain on MS tyres, no problems.
All those tyre changes were on standard highway tyres .... no good in proper off road conditions!

When I spent a lil while there I was disgusted - it was dirty with plastic bags and rubbish lying all over the place.
Awesome setup mate! I've got the same 4.0 V6 Prado here in Australia, though not quite as nice as yours. I noticed you bypassed the most important accessory in your glove box there without even a mention, lol!

@@shakeebchaudhary1573 On my is like 10.5 liters/100km on a highway with average speed 110/120kmh. In the city driving economicaly is around 12.5liters. I was consindering buying 3.0d4d but gave up cause I make only around 15k km per year. Anyway 4.0 V6 is a beast in compare to 3.0d4d.

Where did you get the radio with maps?
I found someone on Facebook but I won't recommend them their workmanship was very poor. But the radio works well.
How big of a difference does the throttle controller make?
Hi I really like it. It gives you more control off road and helps when I tow my trailer. I will be getting one for my next car as well.
