but on issue of menstruation I think he did not have clue of what he was talking about and same with the menopause i am 33 years old and in my teens, I stayed with my grandmother, i remember i was supposed to go to her garden to get some vegetables to cook for supper. before going to the garden, she asked me if i was on my cycle and i said no and i asked why? she then said in the olden days they were no allowed to enter certain places for example like the garden. because they did not have sanitary pads, bl**d would flow and leave a mess on the plats. she also mentioned something like cow dung being used or sit onto something made of cow dung to absorb the flow so i believe back then you were required not to be in certain areas or gathering. imagine going to the river to fetch water on your circle and flo flowing in the water? certain activities were cut off. the menopause story too am not buying it he is not knowledgeable about women staff in the past let's just agree on that one. I will go back to my granny and ask on that one.

This madala is speaking rubbish 🥶🤣 Va Venda are one tribe which has always had a healthy respect for women and the role that they play in society and in the family. Women were never considered property. He is projecting his own sick views and passing it off as culture abe a Venda norm 🤣😂 bought property? No Morena. Lobola was the coming together of clans and families not a purchase of slaves to fetch water.

How is this Man telling my History as a Venda Man but never speak Tshivenda but English and Pedi? I personally don't like this one bit, it is very interesting and I'm learning a lot but for the fact that it's a story about me without me I'm not so Happy about it. Same as the ID I'm carrying around, it's English and Afrikaans, why not English and Tshivenda? I'm carrying a driver's license written my Name and ID yes, but why must my License be in English and Zulu? What kind of nonsense is that?

I've been looking for my history as a Venda man for a long while... it's nice hearing about even a piece of it... I want more about the origins... I am from Beitbridge, Zimbabwe... I need to know how all Venda people got to where they are currently, from the beginning... Also how the Venda tribe was affected by the white colonials, especially when they set the national border of the present day Zimbabwe and South Africa right between the Venda settlements... For me being born in Zimbabwe, having limitations of resources to research my history makes me feel a little lost... I only have details of up to about 3 generations of my family...

Same here I've been checking and googling about the vhavenda people. My dad was some what a historian and if he was still alive I'm pretty sure I would know more about our tribes. But mostly what about our tribe is that we are from up north and we are Jews.
