Based in Tokyo. Sharing the world through viewfinders.
Walked the streets of Shibuya overnight with Hasselblad |CFV v50Cⅱ and 500 C/M
This time I have been shooting with a Hasselblad 500C/M and a CFV 50C ii.
I am very happy to be able to easily take high-sensitivity photographs in colour, which is difficult under the current film supply situation.
However, it was also an opportunity for me to become acutely aware of the inexperience of digital development and to find issues that I need to face up to. Recently, I have had many opportunities to shoot with film, so I have spent a lot of time on film scanning, but I hope to focus on digital development as well.

The Magic of the Waist Level Finder|Pentax6×7
มุมมอง 2Kหลายเดือนก่อน
It's been about six months since I last posted a video. During that time, I was working on short videos, but I decided to resume posting videos because I still think that a video of the length of TH-cam is the best way to visualize the feel of film shooting. I would like to thank everyone who commented and registered during my hiatus. I hope to gradually resume posting more frequently. 【About t...
Relaxing Film Photography in Japan|Hasselblad 500CM|POV
มุมมอง 2.3K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
At the beginning of this video, I mentioned the history of Kodak's film. At a time when photography was not yet common, George Eastman founded the Kodak Company with the belief that he wanted to make photography an everyday thing. Without his invention, photography and cameras might not have become so much a part of our lives. I have been filling my camera with Kodak rolls of film, which have b...
Hasselblad 500CM + CFV II 50C|Silent POV Photogoraphy
มุมมอง 4.3K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
I finally bought the CFV II 50C! The CFV 100C was recently released and attracted a lot of attention, but in my case I mainly shoot hand-held, so I came to the conclusion to buy a second-hand CFV II 50C from the point of view of price and concerns about camera shake with a high-resolution camera. From now on, I would like to use film and digital depending on the situation. (It is great for me t...
Night Film Photography in Tokyo|Hasselblad 500C/M|POV
มุมมอง 19K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
This time I shot film at night using a tripod and release. It is not as easy to shoot hand-held at night as with modern digital cameras.., but I was surprised to see how well film cameras can capture nighttime images with a little effort. I hope you will enjoy the night scenes of Tokyo captured on film :) 【About this channel】 In this video, I will visit various places in Japan and around the wo...
Relaxing Film Photography |Hasselblad 500C/M|POV

I tried to make a simple summary of "walking and taking pictures". I aim to create videos suitable for people to watch at relaxing times, such as before going to bed. I hope to upload quiet POV videos like this one in addition to videos with narration and subtitles. Since this is my first effort, I would appreciate your comments on the tempo and other aspects of the videos! 【About this channel】...
A film camera approved by NASA| Hasselblad 500CM
มุมมอง 6K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
In the beginning of this video, I introduce Hasselblad's relationship with NASA. Last year while photographing the aurora borealis in Yellowknife, there was a moment when the aurora exploded directly overhead. It is said that auroras occur at altitudes of 100 km or more. It is also from above 100 km that they are defined as outer space. I felt the aurora so close that I could almost reach it, a...
Film Photography at Night in Tokyo - Pentax67
มุมมอง 2.4K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
This time, I photographed Shibuya at night with my Pentax 6×7. I tried to shoot hand-held as much as possible because I needed to be careful about where I positioned the camera so as not to obstruct traffic, but this time I used a tripod and release because I was shooting at night. Although we now live in an age when it is easy to take pictures hand-held with image stabilization functions, this...
Film Photography in Tokyo in Autumn
มุมมอง 4.1K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
This time I visited a park in Tokyo to capture autumn on film! The price of film has been rising, especially in recent years, and it is no longer possible to casually release the shutter. Often, I look through the viewfinder and think, "There might be a better place," and walk away without releasing the shutter. However, I have recently come to realize that feeling the weight of each shot is on...

This is my first time using the iPhone 15 Pro Max as my filming equipment. Log shooting is now available from the iPhone 15 series. I was very curious about it and finally got my hands on it... From 1:22~ of the video, all the material was shot with the iPhone. Please check it out! Film Photography in Shibuya at night
มุมมอง 2.7Kปีที่แล้ว
This time, I went shooting in Shibuya at night with my Nikon F3! Since we shot with 35mm film, I was able to post more examples of my shots than ever before. However, as a result, the tempo of the video has become slower, and I am a little worried that the viewers might be bored... I would be very happy to hear your comments and opinions! 【About this channel】 In this video, I will visit various...
Filmphotography on an uninhabited Japanese island
มุมมอง 452ปีที่แล้ว
This time, I took pictures with my Pentax 6×7 on Sarushima, an uninhabited island in Tokyo Bay. Needless to say, a camera is one of the most important factors in obtaining good shooting results. In addition, I think it is equally important to find an environment and subject that you want to photograph in order to get good results. I have visited Sarushima many times in the past, and each time I...

Street Photography in Tokyo’s busiest city
Hello, I recently discovered this gem of a channel. I have a question: how do you achieve such a steady, fixed angle in your shots? Do you use a particular type of mount for this? If I ever get my hands on a Hasselblad camera, this is definitely the angle I'd love to capture. Thank you.
I really appreciate hearing how and why you pick each shot.
what a vibe!
Frederic Chopin and film photography in Japan during the autumn. Is this a subtle reference to the movie "Lonely Heart"?🤔
The Shibuya vibe is really nostalgia! What film are you shooting with?
Glad to see you come back again! Stunning photos as always.
I’m a huge fan of shooting on film. The grain, the colors-it all comes together to give photos a soul and personality!
Love the vibes of the video. I wonder, how did you film your WLF? Did you use some sort of construction to mount your filming camera above the Pentax?
just found your channel and subscribed
A wonderful upload. My F3 & DW-3 are happy!! 👏👏👏👏👏
This is a beautiful video, it is a pure joy to watch. Thank you for making it! I cannot imagine on what time you had to wake up to get the sunrise in Japan, I know that the sun rises really early over there.
On this day I walked to the sea at 2am carrying my camera bag... It is not easy, but I feel I need to do it. This is because my photography skills are not up to scratch and I need to make up for that with effort. I try to make up for my lack of skills as much as possible by getting up earlier than other people and carefully researching the location of the shoot! :)))
Your videos are like therapy for me, thank you for that! 💟
I hope this video has helped you in some small way! Your comment helps me too! Thanks!🙏

Very nice :) I will be visiting Japan by the end of October and am looking forward to all the beautiful sights. It will be my first time traveling with my Plaubel Makina III R(if i can service it in time 😄)
Makina! Such a nice camera! I am sure that Japan as you see it and as I see it are different, but I am sure that both are beautiful. I would love to see your point of view! 📸
Is there anywhere I could download these pictures? I would love to make these my homescreen as inspiration.
Thanks for your kind comment! Currently I haven't uploaded the photos anywhere, but I will consider it! :)

Beautiful work. I feel they needed to credit you. I had seen your photo on their socials. Would have found this video faster if they had done so 😂
Hello , I’m currently using a mamiya 645 1000s which I love ❤️. I would love to own a hasselblad 500 cm one day. Could you give me a little advice on buying one. That would be much appreciated. Your videos are great 😊. Keep on shooting on. Peace. Tommy.
May I ask which focus screen are you using? Its so bright ❤
I just found your channel and I love your videos. Tokyo is my favorite place to visit and I love the Debussy, Bach unaccomanied cello; all wonderful music. Lovely photography and I love seeing the view through your viewfinder. Thanks so much.
amaing! How do you film the view from the top especially so steady?
ダイスケダニエルさんの動画が好きで毎日リピートしてるのですが、自分もこのように上からの撮影をしてみたいですどうやればできますか
It looks like the pictures have some chromatic aberration ... or is that the fault of TH-cam?
what a beautiful photo and camera. for a question, is that a bright screen that you used in the video?
This is excellent and it's nice seeing my city in a different way through your viewfinder. Superb images.
Congrats for winning the Hasselblad Competition :) Is it possible to share with us the setup how you filmed the Viewfinder? This Video is so cool :)
I also wonder how you managed to never see a reflection in the light well viewfinder. Would be so thanksfull for a comment
