Only part I like is the chorus. If you're going to go different, go different all the way. The end works because I can imagine Frank chopping him up during it. But the rest...too similar to the original and not in a good way.

Was this done in one take when he woke up in the morning, only for him to leave the studio immediately after?

Not bad. Not as good as the original but much better than the abomination that was the cover of Time Warp from this album.

I stumbled across the existence of this album as a big Alkaline Trio fan who is also a big fan of Rocky Horror. This ‘punk’ version of Time Warp is appallingly lifeless. I could get some friends together tomorrow and record a better version.
