Many years ago, I worked with a Team of “tunnellers” building transport tunnels. We were “sub-contractors” who hired out as a Team. “The Team” had evolved on a few previous jobs, then formed a company and contracted as “The Team”. We had broken World Records, being paid on performance, we made a lot of money. The job we were working was scheduled to last another 5 years, we were approaching 20% ahead of schedule. This meant it looked like we would finish a year ahead of schedule. Then, one of the “smart guys” in management decided we were so committed to the job, we (The Team) could be dumped and the job would still be on schedule. “Management” then started a “program” of obstruction, so we couldn’t get on with the job. The Smart Guy hadn’t done his research and read the contract. The Team gave Notice of Breach according to the Contract. Management buckled down and rejected the Notice. The Team walked off the job and enforced the Contract. Management declined to abide by the Contract. The Team then obtained an Injunction against the company proceeding with the job. The Team in the meantime bid on another job and won the bid, the members moved to the new job. The law suit against Management in the old job eventually had the Hearing expedited (because in the meantime the job was closed down). The Court decided that Management had been in breach of the Contract, had ignored the Notice under the Contract, that thereby the Contract had validly Terminated and the Team were owed the fee provided for in the Contract, 1 years average fee, averaged in the 12 months prior to the Notice. Management paid the Damages. The job still hasn’t re-started, Management doesn’t know how to Tunnel, no Independent company will touch the job without iron-clad guarantees and Management can’t provide the guarantees. Management itself is on horrific breach of the over-arching contract! The Team is waiting for the contract between the Owner and Management to be rescinded, we plan to bid on the “Over-Arching” contact and move up a level.

I used to work at a food manufacturing plant for three and a half years before I got into trade school and joined a labor union. There was one guy named Kevin at the factory who would steal peoples food and drinks a lot. Mostly drinks though. I had drinks stolen from me that were in the fridge even if I marked my name many times. To be fair I wasn’t the only one getting things stolen. I tried reporting this guy multiple times but, nothing happened. I saw this guy working in three different departments of my workplace. From what I know he’s a navy veteran who has some mental issues and he also talked out loud to himself like Luca Brassi from The Godfather. He would talk about WWE stuff most of the time I saw him, I paid him no mind. In my last week working there I put a bottle of Coke put some liquid laxative in it. The dumb bastard grabbed and ended up going home because he shit his pants.

The OP in the first story did exactly what they have to do, documenting everything, with witnesses, date, hours and places. Those are solid valuable evidences.
