Between Islands is a project created by An Lanntair Arts Centre on the Isle of Lewis which aims to encourage collaboration between the arts and heritage communities of the Western and Northern Isles of Scotland.

2nd comment about this!!.... I've heard & played many versions of this on the Guitar... And I think it is right that this should be played at this Tempo!!!! It is not a 'lively' tune!!! It's about the negative impact of people leaving a region, and the ensuing 'demise'.... Not to mention the 'Rarity' of having it played by a 'Guitar'... I thank the performers xoxox

Wow this is quite the supergroup!
A beautiful rendition!!!! Most don't know the origin of this!!... The Shetland Islands were loosing so many people, due to death or moving away.... So it was noticed that there were fewer and fewer 'lights' there.... The title refers to the 'Lights' that have now extinguished there for ever...
