That is so exciting:) it depends on the park, but I believe I saw WDW just had a look alike call so if that is the park then yes you will have a fitting 🎀 which is honestly such a cool experience. When you arrive it will be relaxed and you will just be getting dressed and doing makeup. Know that when you are about to step into that audition room and do your reading, that is time to give a big genuine smile, walk with confidence, be professional. You will do a reading so it might be good to practice your voice and movement for whatever characters you might suspect they give you, though it is impossible to know because sometimes they fit you for a character they didn’t list on the audition. Yeah, I saw her there once last year, she was really cute, and I was so happy because Marie is one of my favorite characters!

Thank you so much! Ahh how exciting! I hope everything goes well 🩷 1. You do not need a lot of knowledge on the characters beyond the basics, though of course it will help. It’s a FAST interaction and you will receive a character info sheet before you do improv to help you with their movements & basic story. I would just try to do a simple physical activity like spinning or curtsey, fill in the blank for the character, because the Japanese guests can’t understand English very well 2. Yes they do take photos if you get to a certain point in the audition. I wouldn’t worry about your hair though beyond making it compliment your face shape Again wishing you all the best of luck and sending pixie dust your way ✨🩷 have so much fun! :)

English. There may be Japanese phrases here and there but mostly English

@@snailz1324 yes! I had a coworker at pirates, I worked in attractions but I believe he worked in merchandise. He was a wheelchair user. I can’t speak on how accessible it was for him because I didn’t know him well, but from what I could tell the job was accommodating for employees with disabilities! Lots of elevators backstage

@@celiagrace7517 thank you so much! Unfortunately no 😭 he could in Shang hai or Hong Kong. Tokyo only allows guests to stay for a short period of time in the provided housing even if they are a spouse. Some people go the route of finding and paying for alternative housing so their partner can be with them the whole year.

@@ceemack3211 it depends on if you are in the Disney College Program, full time, or part time. I would say a range of 35-60 if you are DCP or full time. If you are full time you have the best chance of getting consistent hours and deciding your schedule:) I hope this helps! If anyone has more insight on hours please share

Hi! If they asked for a video, you upload it to TH-cam and set it to unlisted, then you include it in your links section on your Disney audition profile. They have you send a ‘check in selfie’ online which I’m assuming is what you are referring to, but they usually also ask for other specific photos which you will want to upload to your Disney auditions profile as well. Do something with physical movement because Japanese guests won’t understand what you are saying and that is reflected in the audition. “___ was teaching me how to ___, shall I show/teach you too?” is an easy prompt for improv ideas. @@ImagineGrace Talent Casting send me some acting sides for two face characters, I sent them the two auditions, they just uploaded the link in my Disney Profile. Am I in the pool? hahaha

@@alansosalara No, you will get an email if you are put into the pool telling you that you are in the pool and for which characters 💕

@@ImagineGrace and if I dont get into the pool after sending them those two face character audition, they will send me a no longer in consideration email or not necesarily (how much would I wait to receive the pool or no longer in considaration email) ?

@@alansosalara it depends on how far you got in the process. If you just submitted to an online audition, those who get callbacks will receive a callback email, those who do not will simply never hear back. If you already had a callback and a fitting, physically went in person for them to do a reading and such, you will receive either: a no longer consideration email or pool email. Thank you for updating me! It is true that sometimes the need for certain roles is more in demand, so that may or may not explain the new performer. But I would highly recommend keeping your options open with other companies or freelancing parties yourself. I know you’ve mentioned before school is taking your focus, so it’s up to you how much of a priority performing is right now for exploring other options. At the end of the day you can’t control what other people do, and placing an expectation on your boss to train you soon is not something you can control. But you can reach out to other companies in the area, purchase a few costumes and do freelance parties yourself, explore local live theater :) I know you are passionate about performing so I am sending all the good luck and pixie dust your way!!
